It must have been a very nice park in the past, but needs some TLC and positive attitude now. We've never had an owner/manager tell us we are "supposed to use our own showers/toilets, that's why there's no entry code on the park map". Seems she'd rather have full time clients, because we sure felt we were imposing on her as transients.
Stayed one night. The front paved sites were ok; the rest of the park was much less appealing. Management doesn't seem to care about people cleaning up after their pets; we watched as a man walked his dog beside our RV and left the remains. Can't rate the restrooms/showers; when we asked for the code at check-in, we were told "They're locked. Is something wrong with yours?" The person at the desk was less than friendly or courteous. Hoping Good Sams will reconsider recommending this park to its members.
We stopped here for one night passing through, after making a reservation a month in advance. The office was closed for the entire day, a Saturday of all days. There were 3 papers on the door, none of which were mine. I called the number on the door but had a bad connection. I finally got a site number and set up. The site was attractive as were most on the first few rows, but the rest of the campground was in poor condition. Wifi was good. We had to leave early the next morning, but the office was not going to open until 3:00 in the afternoon per the sign on the door. I now have to check my credit card bill to see if I was charged or make arrangements to pay them. Very poor business practices.
Pulled into the park and had immediate reservations based on appearance, think 3D world country. Being tired we decided to register as it was only an overnight. The office is dumpy and not clean at all, first mistake.
Pulled into site and hooked up. The surge protector indicated a voltage problem so I contacted the office. The person on duty said "the owner says those things don't work and should be thrown away". Huh? Requested another site and had the same results, voltage error on leg 1. Went back to the office and the clerk on duty said, you people in your fancy rigs, every time your kind come in here you complain about the electricity. No body else has problems. She refunded our money and said "take it down the road, we don't want your kind here".
Nice park huh, avoid at all costs.
