We stay at this campground once or twice a year and have been for quite a few years. What we have noticed is upkeep of the grounds has really started lacking. I have asked what is the difference between the "premium" sites and the "standard" sites in the back area. They are exactly the same except for cost! We probably won't be back.
Our campsite was perfect. Especially appreciated the bushes and boulders between campsites affording privacy. We could use our trailer mounted satellite dish without sacrificing shade. Restrooms were clean & individual private rooms. Very convenient to Gettysburg battleground as well as grocery.
Over all I don't think it was worth the $54 a night we paid, maybe if it were a time when all the service available, but not the end of April. The internet was in and out, The washers was not working properly, and was not refunded... The cost of renting a golf cart was as much as renting a car, which is what we opted to do... The sites are not very level.. and any time we had a question they always had to ask someone else.. This is a rather large park, so some of this we can understand, but a lot could be changed, like the cost because at this time of year you get NO amenities... We will not be going back...
