This park is a little older, but nice and quiet. We were within a reasonable distance of the Lincoln Birthplace attraction. The weather was rather warm and humid, which is to be expected this time of year. Really got a good nights sleep here. We used our own hot spot for wifi, so we cannot comment on that.
This is a good place to sleep while traveling. The bathrooms are pretty clean.
We used this as our base to travel around the area, so we didn't use the pool, and we didn't have any kids with us. This is a great RV park that is quiet, well maintained, and close to I65. Another plus is there's a Waffle House right down the road! The only problem we had was with the wifi. Our slot was near the entrance and the wifi was intermittent at best. Fortunately we could use our cell phones as hot spots to do what we needed to do. We'll definitely return when we come back to KY... Read More

I would highly recommend this campground to anyone traveling through the area. It is very well taken care of and is a very beautiful and comforting place to stay. It's not a large campground by no means, so you should call ahead to schedule your stay. The wife and I both loved this quaint campground and would not hesitate to go back there. I humbly gave this place a 4 star rating, although in my opinion, I would give it a 5 star rating. I'm not use to expensive, high quality places, when in fact... Read More

Thanks for the wonderful stay!

Stayed here for 1 nite with our Class C towing a trailer. We were in a beautiful site, #40 which was a pull thru. Beautiful big shade trees, very level site and great water and water pressure. The sites were well spaced out. We were traveling with our dog and the dog walk was excellent. It was super quiet and peaceful and very clean and well maintained! The park hosts were very nice. We would definitely stay here again!
We were given a price over the phone and assigned a spot. 3 hours later when we arrived the price was $15 more per night. The lady in the office stated "that spot is more expensive than the others." I found that very unprofessional, since she was the same person who quoted the same spot just hours before. Not that friendly, especially for Kentucky which we have always found people here VERY friendly. I gave the appeal a 3 because there were lots of trees and a pond and grass. The rest of the park... Not that friendly, especially for Kentucky which we have always found people here VERY friendly. I gave the appeal a 3 because there were lots of trees and a pond and grass. The rest of the park was pretty substandard for our taste. It was run down, the signage was old and faded, etc. we would not stay again.

Nice quiet park. Good walking park and fishing pond. Close to many attractions. Owners very helpful and friendly. Wpuld stay here again.
Stopped at Elizabethtown on our way south. Traveling in a Class B+ Sprinter Van unit. Needed a place with full hookups to de-winterize for our spring trip south. We nabbed last full hook up spot, site 3A which turned out to be nearly perfect for us. Only issue was the site was not level, high in the back. But we made it work and were happy with the spot for our activities. Very friendly folks. Bathrooms look primitive (wooden hook and latch doors for example) but they were spotless and warm... Very clean, wooded and small campground. Very quiet considering that I65 is very close. Front office staff are very helpful and accommodating. Several sites are electric and water only. Most disappointing is that most sites are far from level and for bigger motorhomes it will be challenging to level. Wifi works great most of the time. Within an hour you can be in Lexington, Louisville, Mammoth Cave NP or many of the distilleries in the area. Would definitely stay here again.
Stayed here with our 43' fifth wheel trailer. We were given an ideal pull-through site (#4). Nice, well-maintained campground with small, man-made catch and release fishing pond, nice playground for the kids, a pool, and other facilities. Obviously a former KOA, with much of the yellow signage still in place. Although close to the freeway, it was very quiet at night and we got a great night's rest. Appreciated the greenery (flowers, etc.) that are cared for by someone. True our pull-through... Read More

Appreciated the greenery (flowers, etc.) that are cared for by someone. True our pull-through was not level, but had plenty of room for us to set the trailer down at the front of the site (which was nearly level) and park the truck behind. Only concern was that I saw a 40 A label on the breaker when I plugged in our power cable, and this morning we lost power when running the air conditioning. That seems odd. Is this set up for 50 A or not? The person working at the counter said she would have the electrician look at it but we never heard the response.

Stayed one night, very poor wifi, only average bathrooms (Certainly not a 9 as rated). Our site was not level at all and in desperate need of new gravel. Overall, only an average park at best.
Very clean restroom/shower facilities. Small campground, but neat and well kept. Occasional train noise at night. Would certainly stay here again.
Owners were very helpful(We are new to RVing) Campsites were a little tight and was hard to manuver. Sites were not very level and very muddy after the hard rains, but I guess this is all part of camping!
Easy to get to from I-65. Lots of shade but some of the sites can be challenging from a leveling standpoint The campground is very well maintained and the grounds are very clean and there is a lot of grass (dogs, you know) and even a fishing pond. It is an easy drive to restaurants and shopping of all types. A nice quiet campground with an occasional train whistle for ambiance
This is a relatively small campground but with a few fairly large sites which can accommodate big rigs. The grounds are heavily wooded which is nice for shade but a bit of a problem for satellite reception. The roads are a little tight but manageable. The staff are nice and accommodating. The one complaint we have is that you must get a cable box from the office and hook it up to your TV to get cable TV. This can be a problem if you do not have access to the rear of your TV. We stayed in a 42 foot Class A Motorhome.
