We've been to this CG's a few times now.. They do very well here, more of an older camper appeal to it. But, it's WiFi is poorly out dated so don't depend on wifi at all. It's been that way for years. The sites with water views are not level but not bad. They have stones on the sites with water views, so wear shoes when you walk on your mats or bare ground. You would think after these past years, and the income they make, they would get rid of the stones and improve the wifi. The back pull... Read More

It's a shame they've not updated this place. As for swimming, don't try. Large stones are all over the "beach" area, and goose, duck, seagull pooh all over.

Great view of the Mackinac Straits! Welcoming staff. Gravel/grass lots, fairly easy to level. We were able to bicycle on Pointe Labarbe Rd to Boulevard Dr. all the way to Bridge View Park- some traffic on Pointe Labarbe Rd, very little traffic on Boulevard Dr./ part gravel and part close to vehicles due to washouts. Shepler's Mackinac Island Ferry has a free shuttle to and from the campground-check office hours for calling them for service (they run shuttles longer than the office phone is answered).... We took an early shuttle, spent the day on Mackinac Island. The staff at Shepler's recommended a great restaurant in St. Ignace, we ate dinner and then took the shuttle back to the campground. We were not towing so 3 nights is probably the max I would stay here in that case-not much else to do. Bathroom facility not open due to COVID. Did not use laundry, but was available, and appeared clean. Great option if you want to spend a day on Mackinac Island, quieter, less busy than Mackinaw City. Overall great stay!

Great people running the place. Great views of lake. Nice shaded camp site. Very convenient to St Ignace but in a lower traffic area.

Fantastic views of Lake Michigan from this park! Also beach access about 50 yards away. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Good interior dirt/gravel roads and grass sites. Buildings are older and could use some updating, especially the restrooms and showers which were messy and not cleaned every day. This place is a great bargain for the price!

Not happy. Facebook page nor Good Sam's website state there is a charge for running ac ( we r on a non shaded spot no trees whatsoever in front of park). They also charge extra for anyone over 14 yrs old which they do not list on this Facebook page.. My fault for not checking actual website but you would think they would list it with the rates they list on facebook. On top of the attitude we got when we asked for a fire pit and tried to find out about bathrooms being cleaned since they looked... Read More

Very close to Mackinac Island. Sites are pretty narrow. Our picnic table was near the neighbors septic. Only a moderate amount of shade. Our site got muddy when it rained.

Went down to lake each night and enjoyed our stay.

Great location. We walked across the road to the beach each evening to watch the beautiful sunsets. We didn't use any of the facilities, so can't comment on them.
