We booked a water only "Big RV Site" with views of the water. On arrival check-in was quick and we were pointed in the direction of our site. We had site 56, back in with a view of the Lake. Could be a beautiful site, shaded and very long, however, it was the most unlevel site in the campground and the worst we have seen in our 8 years of travel. It was at least a foot taller in the back then the front. We used wood under tires and from jacks of our 42' motorhome and still could not get close... Read More

Could be a beautiful site, shaded and very long, however, it was the most unlevel site in the campground and the worst we have seen in our 8 years of travel. It was at least a foot taller in the back then the front. We used wood under tires and from jacks of our 42' motorhome and still could not get close to level. No other sites available as most were for small units. This site is definitely NOT for "Big RV's" as it is described. Other water view sites were more level with only a slight grade which would work. This site might work for 5th wheels or travel trailers with there wheels closer together but on MH's with long wheel bases this site is definitely a no go. Of course with 30 minutes work it could be leveled.
The sites close to the road and check in building could work for larger RV's. There is a boat ramp and views of the river from the sites near the lake. Campgrounds were clean but we did not use the restrooms. Most sites are water and electric or electric only.

Has tent and electric sites, potable water available at the dump site. On the water and has a boat ramp. sites vary to very level, to needing a few waffle blocks. Nice appeal with trees, grass, and is near to both Hancock and Houghton. Price is cheap. Would stay here again.
