We booked in this campground when the Pandemic was happening, and we have been on the road for almost 4 months at that time we were shocked at the price for nothing but a full hookup, yes with everything going around everything was closed but why charge your summer rates when you could not use any of the facilities you should have been charging the winter rates or discounted the summer rate. As other people said the golf carts with the kids are out of control and the so-called security did nothing, someone is going to get hurt, and wih park being as large as it is and the security gaurds just doing laps why dont the escort some of the larger units in, we saw some people stoping other campers for directions. Over all I dont know if I will come back..

The Takeaway: a popular rv resort on the far eastern shore of MD (not to be confused with the ‘Western Shores’ nor the ‘Eastern Shore’) protected from the Atlantic by Assateague Island and boasting its own private sandy beach with bar and food cabana. It offers many amenities and is close to famed Ocean City, Berlin, and Assateague Island National Park. A destination campground serviced by well maintained multiple bath/shower/laundry facilities, cafes’ and free shuttle bus. A good vacation spot to relax with family and to explore Worcester County. We visited August 2017 and August 2019. Go to www.rickpicks.com for other reviews, critiques and essays with links to area attractions and a more detailed review of this park as well as reviews of restaurants, etc.

This is a very expensive campground for what you get! The sites are nice, but there are too many of them! The small pool is always crowded, and the beach is a mudflat and not appealing. Like others say, the golf carts and bikes fly around all day and night. While we were there, the bathhouse/laundry had no hot water. The WiFi only worked on 1 of the days we stayed, and the staff just laughs it off and says it's "wonky." We did enjoy the shuttle, which goes to Ocean City and Assateague Island. It's a fun area to visit, but I will look for a better value for camping next time.

This is a nice park and it is close to Ocean City. We stayed there a couple years ago with a very good experience, this year was the opposite. People, old and young like to walk and ride bikes through the camp site many times a day and disrupt our camping experience. The kids ride bikes, scooters and golf carts throughout the camp like its the Indianapolis 500. This is not a the average camping we have experienced around the country, rather its a place for anything goes and get wild. We were warned by camp personnel one night at 10:30 in the evening to lock everything up as there were some problems that night, then we saw staff patrolling the camp at night. Such as nice camp ground, but people with no manners. All in all, unless you are a juvenile delinquent, this place is not for you.

This place was great. Love the tiki bar and fact of its own little beach.

This is a great campground, we've stayed here many times. They were having bathroom issues while we were there that's why I only gave them 4 stars.

This is a top-end resort park and it is one of the closest to Ocean City. Sooooo, beware! It is a loud park (especially on the weekend) from the people who like to be close to the amusement parks and cheap eats in Ocean City, but also love being able to let their kids bike and scooter throughout the camp while they drink, live life raucously and talk until two in the morning before someone calls the security folks to ask them to take it inside. This is not a peaceful, serene place and it's not inexpensive. It is otherwise top-notch with clean spacious sites and plenty of facilities and staff. They also must have patrolled the camp at night on the weekend, because the drunken revelers actually ceased their senseless yelling at quiet time Saturday night.
