Having stayed at both private and national rv parks, we have come to have high expectations at this price point. When we arrived, we were sent to a hillside angled space that the office told me most people hated????? WE ended up being moved which was helpful. When I hooked up to the cable system, I found out that there is no service or WIFI available to the temporary spaces. There are no antenna stations available there either. Thank goodness for the DVD. When I hooked up to the cable system, I found out that there is no service or WIFI available to the temporary spaces. There are no antenna stations available there either. Thank goodness for the DVD. At other communities, the people are curious and friendly and we have been invited to community Thanksgiving meals and Christmas celebrations. Here, most of the residents are older permanent people who seem to not enjoy visitors. We are not golfers so perhaps the focus of the park is wrong for us casual RV types. If you are travelling with children, you will not find a warm reception. I noted that the people with kids were pretty well ignored or glared at. We are in the 59-67 age group and still felt youthful. Overall, the facility is tight spaces, narrow roads and showing its age. There are things to do but this is around 1100 units, most of whom are permanent. Be aware that you may need to plan well ahead for golf. Being just about a mile from the Lakeridge Winery was great. You will enjoy the short jaunt to try a free tasting of decent wines. The park is a bit dark at night so be careful coming back from tasting and drovong home.

We loved this campground while visiting FL last year...but there is a completely different vibe now! Maybe I'm a Pollyanna, but I like people I am paying a large sum of money to to be cheerful! Not complaining to another office personnel about campers, actually ignoring me to do this. I could let one time go, but we were actually looking forward to seeing some friendly faces, and got drama and power-weilding workers who should not be carrying on like they can just evict anyone they want over anything,... People we talked to seem scared of them and said they try to avoid them! The laundry area is dirty and remained that way for our shortened stay...we moved on early to another place we like on the coast. Please get this place back to the way it use to be, more like a family business! I will be watching the reviews to see if it changes before next year's trip!

Clerbrook is not just an RV Park, it becomes a community of friends and neighbors. The Park staff are terrific, and always ready to help. We loved the trees all around, and the larger camping spaces as well. Just be careful where you park your camper, because of the sugar sand - it can fool you, and you will sink to your axles. Most spaces are fine though. We can't wait to get back for another two weeks this Spring!

This is our second year at this very large and friendly park. Clerbrook is really more like a community than a campground. Sites are very large compared to other Florida parks. Lots of open space and views of ponds and the 18 hole golf course. There is a wide selection of sites and it is wise to be careful when choosing a site. Some areas are more spacious than others. 3 nice clubhouses and 3 pools with plenty of activities for fun. There is a post office on the grounds. Lots of stores are within... Read More
