The Grand Canyon Railway RV park is a nice park that is clean, big-rig friendly and convenient to Williams and the Grand Canyon Railway. The roads are all gravel and the sites are spacious. The only issue we had was with the slope of the sites. We were able to level after multiple tries using blocks on the front of our rig, but felt the park could have done a better job leveling the sites. We spoke with other folks in 40+' motorhomes and they were all dealing with the same issue. The location is great. It is just a two-block walk from the Route 66 shopping area and right next door to the Hotel and Raliway. The hotel has an indoor pool and hot tub that is a nice size and a short 5 minute walk from the park. The sound of trains does come through the park, but it never disturbed our sleep. The railway is a fun way to see the Grand Canyon without worrying about the drive and if that is part of your plans, staying in this park is definitely convenient.

Very nice RV Park! We stayed here for 2 nights with our granddaughter. The staff was very friendly and helpful, easy check-in. We have a 40 foot Fifth wheel and we had no problem pulling into or out of our site. We had site #315, which was right across from the shuttle. They offer shuttle service around their property. Pads are required under all jacks or stabilizers and the sewer hose needs to be supported on a ramp. We did not use the restrooms or laundry, but I am sure by the look of the park that they would be in tip top condition. There is a train that will take you to Grand Canyon right from their property. The train tracks are also working tracks, so there were a couple of trains that came through during the night - but it didn't bother us much, you hear them and fall back asleep. Bearizona is only a few minutes down the road from the park. We did that the first afternoon. The Grand Canyon Brewery is right across the street from the RV Park. Route 66 is only a few blocks away would be a nice walk for dinner or just to check out the sights and gift shops. We did Grand Canyon the next day. This is a very nice park, would definitely stay here again. Was not disappointed in anything in this park.

One of the best campgrounds we have stayed at. The staff do everything they can to make your stay awesome. We stayed for a week using the pool, hot tub, the pet resort and of course took the train up to the canyon. Thanks.

This park is very close to I 40 and a good stopping point when traveling thru the area. There are a number of things to do in the area. We stopped here for 3 nights and enjoyed the train ride to the Grand Canyon. The camp ground is very organized at check in with a well stocked store. The buildings all look fairly new and fit with the train station theme of the area. That being said. . .you will be very close to the train tracks staying here. The train whistles are loud. But, that adds to the charm of the area. The park has paved roads and camp sites with rock in between. The spaces are very tight. We have a dog who is used to grass to do his business on. The red/brown stone is the only place for his business. There is no dog park. I can only imagine how hot the black top would be in the summer. It would be difficult to even walk the dog. For our purposes this RV park fit the need. I would stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Great location on Route 66. Loved visiting the shops in Williams. Check in staff was friendly. Sites are level with plenty of space between your neighbors. Was so nice not to be on top of each other. The pool is actually at the hotel across the street. There is a shuttle that runs between if needed. There is a dog walk area. Not sure I would call it that. My dogs are not from the southwest and not certain about doing their business on rocky terrain. I wish there was some sort of enclosed dog park with turf. The shower house was clean, lots of hot water, and plenty of room. Would stay here again.

We stayed here in a 5th wheel at site number 105 backed-up to the railroad tracks. The site was roomy and provided great hookups. The sites are asphalt, and the surrounding grounds are all gravel / lava rock. The amenities are excellent and well maintained. The lady that managed the RV resort was as gracious and customer service oriented as you could ever want. We will be back - but not backed-up to the railroad tracks.

Had a decent campsite. Cable and wifi included. Full hookups. Nice little town down the street. They have dog sitting for pet owners if needed. 45 to 60 minutes from the grand canyon south entrance. Clean grounds and friendly staff. I would stay again.

Enjoyed our stay there over all. Facility is clean, and quiet, for the most part. Freight Trains do pass by, but not too often. If you're taking The Train to the Grand Canyon, it's next door, an easy walk. Didn't use the Wi Fi, showers, or laundry, so I can't rate them. The ONLY thing I didn't like, was that the spaces seemed too narrow.

We stayed here when we took the Grand Canyon Railway to the South Rim. The RV park is a huge parking lot like at the mall but for RVs. Our site had no shade but I did notice some had small little trees. The site was long enough to take our 27' trailer and 20' truck with no problem. Also, the sewage drain was high which can make a problem. The laundry room was small for the RV park with only 4 washers - 2 of which were broken. The RV park is right next to the train track which seemed to be a major East/West artery for freight. 3 long freight trains passed through each of the 3 nights we were there. Also, our site was next to a popular street which is busy with traffic from 6 am on. Take your ear plugs with you for this place. It was very clean but very, very ,very windy the entire time.

This place is a gold standard for an RV park. The sites are level, paved, easy to find and have a nice distance between them. The restrooms are modern, clean, and convenient. The laundry area is small, $1.75 per washer and $1.50 per dryer at the time of this review, but clean and easy to use. We were able to access the hotel facilities, a nice plus. Staff was pleasant and friendly. We definitely will visit again if in Williams.

The good: Friendly staff at the check in. Clean and tidy park paved sites with easy access. Didn't use washrooms but building was newer and clean. The bad: Stayed three nights no wifi, staff advised it was under repair when we couldn't log on. Log on became available but the wifi still didn't function. Pull through was not nearly level. (8" slope front to back, side to side raised wheels off the ground to level. Trains travel the tracks "right beside" the resort through the night and sound their horn repeatedly.

The campground is very nice, very clean. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The WIFI was very good for us. We had originally booked the whole week there but had to leave after only 2 days because trains were coming by at midnight, 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. and always blowing their whistles loud and long. We lost too much sleep and left.

I agree with the Good Sam rating for the Grand Canyon Railway RV Park, but down grade appeal because the park is located so far from the Grand Canyon. However, the WiFi signal reception is poor unless your RV is parked very near the laundry and bathhouse where the antenna is located. I talked to technical support about the poor reception. They were aware of the problem, but stated management has not initiated action to place additional antennas throughout the park so RVs parked at the far end of the lot can receive a strong WiFi signal. It is very inconvenient to have to sit at the picnic tables under the pavilion near the laundry just to use your laptop or other device. Also, GCRRV Park is 1 hour drive to the Grand Canyon, which is inconvenient and adds 2 hours to an already long day you've spent in the Grand Canyon. There are other RV parks with adequate facilities on Hwy 64N that are closer to the Grand Canyon. However, GCRRV Park is located in Williams AZ and the historic Route 66 downtown with shopping and restaurants so it's a trade-off which RV Park to stay at.

Stayed a few nights in a 45 ft. motorhome. Rather tight site. Very nice and clean restrooms/showers. TERRIBLE WIFI. Decent cable. Close to the Grand Canyon train and Rt. 66 dining. The town is much better than expected. This would have been a nicer stay if I didn't need to go to Mickey D's for wifi to plan the rest of our trip.

This is our Third time staying at The Grand Canyon RailWay RV Park. We have already made reservation for 2016. We have always been pleased with the facility and staff. If any problems arise they have always been right on top of taking care of the problem. I had a oil spill on our pad from last occupant and staff had it handled before we got back to our space from the office. That's fast. Great place. ***** Stars

An excellent RV Park and facility with an excellent kennel for boarding your dog, while you are taking the Train to the GC. Customer service was excellent, as they accommodated me for a pull-thru site, that avoided the afternoon shade. The restaurant offers buffets from breakfast to dinner. The Train ride has great entertainment and historical/educational info from the Host in each car. Be on the lookout for the train robbers, though. There is also a Hotel in this facility. Great customer service everywhere with friendly, competent staff.

Convienient to downtown activities. Didn't have reservations, but staff managed to find a site for us for the two days requested. Able to board train to Canyon on grounds. Neat little Wild West show before train departs. Very clean well kept grounds and facilities. Eventhough it rained very comfortable stay. Reasonable price.

This was a great place to stay. Except for hearing trains whistle a few times a day, it was quiet. .We took the train to the Grand Canyon and had a wonderful time. I was able to ride my bike around the RV park and walk my dog freely, as well. Everything was clean and inviting.

located by the railroad that takes you to the Grand Canyon (a must do). The staff are exceptionally friendly & professional. The staff will provide trans all over the RV park, railway area, and hotel grounds at no charge (just call and they are are there). The internet sucks and I depend upon it greatly. Restrooms & grounds are great. Located near town & many restaurants so you can walk or drive. Their hotel buffet is outrageously priced and the food is not so great as well as not much of a dinner selection. You have to take the train to the Grand Canyon; All of the staff/entertainers are wonderful and deserve a nice tip.

The bathrooms/laundry were first rate and extremely clean. The floors and shower walls were tiled and 60's music was piped in. The outdoor covered picnic area has 4 gas grills and the music was piped in here as well. This was a great spot for a home base while visiting attractions within a few hours including the Grand Canyon. The office staff was friendly and very helpful. The only drawback for us in a popup camper was the proximity to the railroad tracks.
