Appeal Rating We have been camping at Willowtree RV Resort for about 10 years. Some campgrounds might have deteriorated some in a 10 year span - - but Willowtree is so nicely maintained that it is better than 10 years ago. The sites are huge, the amenities are great. The lake water is crystal clear. It was a great idea to place the permanent sites in a completely separate area from the RV sites. This way there are still plenty of lakefront RV sites. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. . . and as mentioned they do a great job of maintaining the park ! If you are a golfer you are only minutes away from some of the best courses in the North Myrtle Beach area. Beach lovers will appreciate the short drive to the Cherry Grove beach area and all the tourist attractions of Myrtle Beach are only about 30 minutes away. Thanks to the management of Willowtree for the great job.

Appeal Rating Wow. Best park we have been to. Our pull-through site was huge. Probably could have pulled a second trailer into it. We arrived after hours, and still we were met with an assistant in a golf cart who led us to the site and stayed until everything was working.
It is a short drive to Myrtle Beach where parking was plentiful. We also went to Ocean Isle Beach -- a little bit further, but not as crowded.
We had our grandkids and some days, we just stayed at the park. Their swimming pool was great.

Appeal Rating We've stayed at many places claiming the title of "resort" and Willow Tree is one of the few that lives up to the name. The paved sites are huge with plenty of grass and landscaping between sites. The hook-ups are modern and well maintained. All of the amenities are better than advertised. The pool and hot tub are clean, as well as the first class showers and bathrooms. After registering we were escorted to our site by a friendly staff member who checked the hook-ups and helped us park. The office staff was always friendly and smiling and eager to assist. The lake is spring fed so the water is crystal clear and the white sand beach is well maintained. We're planning on full-timing starting in 2016, and Willow Tree RV Resort is top on our list. All the attractions of Myrtle Beach are nearby, but the resort is very secluded and quiet. Without question, it's the nicest place we have ever been.
