The photo used for this site is very misleading. This is standing on the resort's fishing deck, looking across the lake at private properties. From the 'resort?' you can barely see the lake. About 70% of the sites are for people who live there full-time, very run down and dirty looking. The sites are gravel / dusty and very close together. Our site had little pieces of trash and a used fire pit with charcoal overflowing in it. They advertise TV cable and Wi-Fi, neither one would work for us over... Read More

Our site had little pieces of trash and a used fire pit with charcoal overflowing in it. They advertise TV cable and Wi-Fi, neither one would work for us over our 3 night stay, AT ALL. The onsite restrooms have not been updated since the place was built, super old, rundown and just plain funky. The laundry room was very bad also used often by all of the permanent residents. The staff were very nice, so that was good and the place was very quiet at night for sleeping. The boats in the photo for this site are rental fishing boats. The area where you take the garbage was filthy.

This RV park is on Tanwax Lake about 30 miles from the Nisqually entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park. On a clear day from the RV park you have view of the Rainier cone. The park seems to be mostly long-term renters. We had a back in site with 30 amp electric. Driveways are asphalt and site pads are gravel. The site was narrow and not long enough to park our toad, had to park on the other side of the road, so no big deal. They have free WiFi and we found it to be fairly good quality. Good... Read More

Good thing since we couldn't get a Verizon signal here. The bathrooms are quite sad, dirty and not well maintained. There are boat rentals and a fishing dock. Very pleasant setting. We paid $37.25 per night.

The owners/proprietors were nice, however this is not a facility I would visit again. The road into the park was EXTREMELY narrow. The vehicles of other visitors were parked on the side of the road through the park making it impossible to park a trailer. There were far too many trailers crammed into far too little space. The lake the park is situated on is beautiful, but you have to pay extra to use the dock! Again, nice and helpful proprietors, not so nice park.
