Stayed in pull through full hookup concrete pad site #73. It was very comfortable and the 2 large trees provided excellent shade. This was much appreciated during hot weather! Kind office staff and above average private bathrooms and showers. This place also has a recycling bin - wow! The 20+ cable channels were great. Free campground wifi was good at first but it slowed dramatically once the weekend warriors showed up. Good signal for AT&T so my wifi hotspot worked well. Go check out the Missouri Wall of Fame during your stay. La Croix creek is located next to the campground. The water is amazingly clear so it's worth a visit.

We made a one night stop on the way through the area. Good Sam gave the restrooms a 9 rating. I don't understand how they arrived at that. There is one restroom for the entire park. It has a single toilet and two shower stalls all in one room. A one-person restroom. We travel in a Class B and use the campground restrooms when possible. This campground also allows tent camping. I would hate to be camped here if there are a number of tent campers. The campsites have cement pads and ours was level. Each has a picnic table and fire ring. There is grass between sites and there are some trees. The sites aren't private. All sites are full hook up and there was adequate WiFi.

Park is generally pretty good. The office is manned on very random hours. All of that is OK and would be tolerated with out notice or it were not for the incessant barking dogs. Not only in the park but across the street as well. We don't like to complain but this was something to complain about. There were 3 dogs locked in a pull behind in the spot next to us. I almost called the ASPCA. Other than that the park is just fine for an overnight.
