My week at Santa's Whispering Pines, well it was terrible, not for the reasons you expect me to complain about but because anything that could go bad in our life went bad. My week at Santa's Whispering Pines, well it was terrible, not for the reasons you expect me to complain about but because anything that could go bad in our life went bad. A blown transmission, our dog passed away, and we were trapped far away from home. Luckily, we had booked our vacations at this campsite. There absolutely nothing bad to say and it's all positive about the campground and staff. Our original booking was a great site, plenty of shade and very spacious it was immaculate. The pool was clean, and the water was refreshing. The play park, well, the largest I've ever seen, and the kids enjoyed it very much. The rec center had plenty of toys, books, and space to gather with friends. Each evening there was a planned activity, we only missed the first-night event (Monday), but each one of them the kids loved, especially the splash pad was a big hit. The main gate had a mini shop where you can find ice cream and the things you may have forgotten for your trip. Remember this was a terrible trip and as a terrible trip goes we needed allergy medication and nausea medication. They had it all there for you no need to run around like a mad man. The facilities, well we liked the new washroom and the old washroom. Both served their purpose, the "older" washroom was older, but everything was perfect, it flushed, you had privacy, and you could clean yourself, so why complain. The new washroom, well it's new and does the same as the older one, so no big difference liked them both. Now for the staff, really the best of the best people we have ever met and this to every single one. They looked after you, and they had pleasure doing it, this is even before our vacation turned south everyone was great. You have nothing to do besides be on vacation; they even delivered the wood to your site. I'm sure if you asked them they would even light that fire. They addressed each concern and was very attentive to all their campers. As soon as you meet the managers, you understand why everyone is so pleasant. They are by far some of the best caring people you could ever meet. It's truly something you don't see often. We came in on the day before we leave and unload all our issues and quickly found us the best possible solutions and provided us with a space to stay in a completely booked campground. Each time they ran into us they always greeted us and made us feel great. Please go ahead and make your booking, you won't be disappointed. A happy camper.
