We booked one of the few FHU sites (maybe the only one?) at this campground because of the Passport America rate. When we arrived, we passed by a man breaking up a concrete pad with a jack hammer. The office was locked, but the guy with the jack hammer came over to help us check in. Our reserved site was very narrow, making it tricky to back into, and right next to where the jack hammer was running. I asked for some help backing our rig in, but the guy refused which I thought was kind of strange.... Read More

I asked for some help backing our rig in, but the guy refused which I thought was kind of strange. He offered a couple of alternate pull through sites that were water-electric only. As we drove around the grounds to check out our options, we noticed there was no cell reception or wifi. When we pulled up to our reserved site and rolled down our window to tell the jack hammering guy that we'd take one of the pull-through sites, he ignored us and kept jack hammering. Not sure if he didn't notice us there (in our crew cab, extended bed truck and 40 ft 5th wheel less than 6 feet away!), or just being rude. We left and found another RV park a few miles away. I emailed them because I had been charged the full rate, without the Passport America discount, but never received a reply. It was late in the season, and the campground was about to close. The customer service might be better in the summer, but I would not go back to this place.
