Enjoyed our stay here. Familiar w the area and this little oasis is a hidden gem. Quiet and enjoyable. Narrow passable road to get there but opens up to a camping area with the River on one side and the Lake on the other. Paved trail around the lake ( 1.7 miles) with lake lookouts and fishing spots. Boat launches and fish cleaning stations are also available. RV sites are paved but only have water and power available but a dump station is on property. If you are in the area you should consider a stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Friends Landing. This park is a beautiful location to enjoy the Montesano area with a great location right on the Chehalis River with very nice docks/boat ramp. Fishing and birdwatching were easy to do here and there is a lot of lawn area for play. The paved roads and sites make for easy setup. We enjoyed meeting with others in the pavilion area which had nice tables and benches. There aren't a lot of extra amenities but the price is a great value. The sites are water & electric (like many washington properties near the waters) but there's a dump station so that's no problem. This park has a lot of natural beauty and we would like to stay here again.
