We stayed here for 6 months while waiting for work to pick back up during COVID. A really nice campground right outside of town. Walmart is less than a mile down the road. There's lots of grass and young trees. The park is really well maintained, and the people who work there are very friendly and accommodating. We lost power a couple times, but it's a rural area so it wasn't that big a deal. Water can be brown on occasion so make sure you bring a water filter. Other than that it was really quiet... We stayed here for 6 months while waiting for work to pick back up during COVID. A really nice campground right outside of town. Walmart is less than a mile down the road. There's lots of grass and young trees. The park is really well maintained, and the people who work there are very friendly and accommodating. We lost power a couple times, but it's a rural area so it wasn't that big a deal. Water can be brown on occasion so make sure you bring a water filter. Other than that it was really quiet and we really enjoyed our stay.

+55 couple stranded in NE Louisiana with a broken down p/u. Manager arranged to have the trailer towed to his campground for a reasonable fee. Stayed 3 weeks waiting for Ford to fix the problem. All were very polite and willing to go the extra mile for a couple in need. By now the brand new washrooms and laundry will be finished. Walmart walking distance 0.9 mi. Nearby attractions include a fish fry on the weekend 10 mi. north, cotton museum 10 mi. east and Indian mound 10 mi. south. If you are... Read More
