when was the last time someone from good sam visited this place?. terrible place full of weeds and rundown. the only plus is the full hook up. have 5 pull through spots but only if you don't exceed 50 ft

We camped overnight at the Trails West RV Park the first week of May 2018. The RV park is behind the Best Western Motel and Shopko store just west of I-15. Our first impression of this place was very poor because you had to access the park by a terrible dirt road full of huge pot holes. Signage in the RV park to direct you to the motel next door to check in was lacking. (Our second poor impression.) The RV park is run by the motel, which couldn't find a record of my reservation. We camped overnight at the Trails West RV Park the first week of May 2018. The RV park is behind the Best Western Motel and Shopko store just west of I-15. Our first impression of this place was very poor because you had to access the park by a terrible dirt road full of huge pot holes. Signage in the RV park to direct you to the motel next door to check in was lacking. (Our second poor impression.) The RV park is run by the motel, which couldn't find a record of my reservation. (Poor impression number three!) Thankfully, the park wasn't full so we were OK and a pleasant motel desk clerk took care of this easily. Once checked in, I was able to maneuver our 5th wheel trailer easily through their pull-through sites and hook-up to water, sewer and 50 amp electric service. Our total charge for the night was $38.52. We experienced an amazingly quiet night considering our proximity to the freeway. Nothing scenic or "special" about this campground, but it was a convenient stop that gave us a quiet night sleep. Next time through Shelby,MT I would consider the other RV park in the area if it is cheaper, otherwise this place is "ok".

The address listed in the Good Sam website cannot be found in the GPS (at least not on mine). The park is located behind the Great Western Motel, so if you can find the motel and you surely can't miss it, then you've found the rv park. You register for the rv park at the GW motel. The staff is friendly (it's the motel staff after all). Restrooms/showers are new and clean. The showers are free. Good wifi. No traffic noise. No problem getting in and out of the park.
