The roads are in dire need of work. The speed bumps are so high my jacks plowed them. The rules for pets are NOT enforced as a long term's hound was allowed to run, and my site had dog droppings from previous tenants. Crews made no attempt to clean the site. I complained of this as I had to be very careful not to step in them working my hook ups. The Laundry rooms and machines were gross. My wife wouldn't even use them

6-14-17 Dear sir/mam, I am sorry that you had problems with the roads. We have had an unusual amount of rain this spring and the roads were in bad shape throughout Camp County. We have since repaired our roads and speed bumps. I am sorry you had problems with the dogs. I am addressing this problem as we speak. I can't imagine why the laundry rooms were dirty, as they are usually very clean. I will check into that also and correct any and all problems. Again I apologize that... Read More

We went to Barefoot Bay Marina to hang out for the day and have some fun. Excellent place to stay with a lot of fun things to do. Walked the nature trail and saw many different kinds of trees and some flowers that I haven't seen before. Also heard many different species of birds. The RV Resort and Marina is right on Lake Bob Sandlin, so we did some fishing. Inside the full convenient store is also a dining area, game room with pool tables and video games, and a uniquely designed sports bar leading... Read More

Inside the full convenient store is also a dining area, game room with pool tables and video games, and a uniquely designed sports bar leading out to a large deck facing the water, where there is plenty more seating and a hot tub. Outside on the other side of the sports bar is more seating and bar side seating where the bar stools are actually swings. Behind that is a volleyball area and horseshoes, boat ramp and a beach. Plenty of things to do here for a fun day in the sun. Restrooms are very clean and the convenient store has almost everything imaginable that you would need, if you were to stay here for any amount of time.

Great campground in northeast Texas. our site backed up to the beautiful Bob Sandlin Lake. We stayed here for one week while working in the area. Checked in on busy Sunday of Memorial Day weekend but they got us in quickly. Nice to be able to pick up food from their Sports Bar/Grill on days I got back late. Very relaxing stay!

We booked this site for the weekend and we were not happy with the campground. The campground has residents in it and the sites are real close to each other and really narrow. A lot of the sites that have residents are hard sewer piping and have decks around them. The sites around the water are water eroded. The outer road near the water is heavy trafficked. The first site we had someone parking in it and the second site the electric was not working properly. We did not stay weekend because it... Read More

The cabins that are for rent also have residents in them.

We apologize that Barefoot Bay Marina did not meet your expectations. At that time, we had a temporary influx of power plant construction workers. We have since resolved people parking their vehicles in empty RV sites and the electrical issue. The area that you are referring to about being water eroded is in the process of being corrected. We hope you will give us another chance and come back to see us in the future. If you have any questions, you can contact me at (903) 238-6194. Don C. Talley Owner Read More
