Terrible management! We arrived to find the office unmanned and a notice with a number to call. Called number and got recording saying to leave a message and they would call back. However, I couldn't leave a message because the mailbox was full! We called around, found another campground, and moved on. This is no way to run a business! If they are not going to be in the office, and they can't be reached by phone, then they should post your campsite assignment on the office door! Also, watch... Read More

Also, watch out for the tree at the corner of the office as you turn right to park in front of the office. It sticks out so far that it is almost impossible to avoid driving your rig into the branches. Owner - How about trimming back the tree!

This campground is dirty. There are a lot of people living there but apparently no rules about being clean. There is junk piled up around. Our campsite had dog poop all over it. Dogs running loose off lease. It's run down and looks like no one cares. As a matter of fact, we never saw a single employee while we were there. We had to call on the phone and then go pick up an envelope with our name on it and put cash through a slot. They claim it's because of COVID, however, we have been all over in... Read More

They claim it's because of COVID, however, we have been all over in many campgrounds in this state and many others this past month and this is the first park that we have seen that is not manned by any staff. Please do not spend your money or your nights here. You will regret it.

One thing for sure... If you stay hear you're "CRAZY" like the name... Don't waste your time, the park doesn't look like the photo's...

Don't waste your time. Internet if you are close to office. 10 washers but you can only use 3 due to system overflow onto floor ( due to poor maintenance) Waste hose connection is not attached so they have rocks to hold your hose in place. Cash or check only no cards accepted.

We were very disappoint in this campground. In my walk around the campground there was cracked cement pads for the picnic table area. You could not of placed a table on one of them. No fire rings even after we requested one. There were piles of junk everywhere. Old campers that looked like they were abandoned there. It reminded me of an old trailer park. The drain for the sewer was higher than the parking place assigned to us. So trying to drain sewer uphill, next to impossible. Pot holes in several... Read More

Campground was easy to find but the site was unlevel. They had no ice machine. Sites are very close together. It's ok for one night but would not stay here again

We always stay at Crazy Woman when visiting family in Gillette. We've investigated all other parks in the area and this is the best. We usually stay 1 - 2 wks at a time. The office staff is friendly and helpful. Our Grandkids love playing in the small playground and on the piano inside the office/laundry room. We like the fact that yes, there are actually old growth trees on the sites. That in itself is something you won't find at the other RV parks in the area. It's centrally located to everything... It's centrally located to everything in Gillette. It is right next to the hospital but we've never found that to be an issue. They do seem to have permanent residents at the entry into the park but not in the back where we stay. Never had one issue while staying there.

We have been on the road camping for 3 weeks and have stayed at plenty of different campground but this place ranks up there in the top 2. We have stayed at places that looked like a million bucks was spent on the facility only to find that there isn't a blade of grass or a shade tree in sight. Some have you share utilities so when you park you are door to door with your neighbor. This campground isn't fancy but the bathrooms and showers are big and clean. Some have you share utilities so when you park you are door to door with your neighbor. This campground isn't fancy but the bathrooms and showers are big and clean. The camp sites are level, have shade and every other one has a fire pit. I will take that over fancy everytime. I would have given 5 stars but they don't take credit cards but it was only $40 for the night so that was fine.

The staff at this campground are super friendly and helpful. Having said that, the campground itself is being squeezed by the growth of this part of town, specifically the hospital agacent to it. All our hookups worked just fine, but seemed to be showing serious signs of wear and tear. We only spent one night and got a good nights sleep.

July 2017, $37 per night for FHU, CASH ONLY- no discounts Very dated park, needs influx of upgrades/repairs. Many tight turns very fast WiFi. Lots of hot water. ask questions before using Laundry. No enforced speed limit. Garbage truck at 5 am, Monday morning!! In town near hospital (but no noise)

Be aware that there is an extra charge if you plan to use air conditioning. This park charged the most of any park we stayed in over five and a half weeks and was our least favorite. The front of the park has a number of derelict units that need to be cleared out to make the park more appealing. Did not use or visit the restroom so cannot comment. Website indicates there is a hot tub available. We did see one, but it was covered and appeared to not have been used in several years.
