My stay was early spring and I’m sure the park had experienced snow and cold so that’s part of the reason the sites were uneven. The lake was half empty so it was like looking at a gravel pit. Didn’t use or see the restrooms. It wasn’t totally uncared for but seemed to need a little more TLC to make it what is potentially a pretty nice RV park.

Some Sites are not level . Power did not work at assigned site. Map had us entering with power, water. Sewer on the passenger side. Offices closed at 3. Camp host could not change our site. Spent over 1 hour setting up and then getting relocated. Tree branches too low for the Class A RV. Too tired to find another RV park. This was not a pleasant experience but might have been fine for a smaller rig. We are a 45 ft Class A and park does not seem to be not set up for our size motorhome, but they knew that when we made the reservation. Park about 30% occupied and instead of just letting us pick a site we had to wait around while the owners were called. Overall just very poorly ran.

I stayed in a space lakeside. I did not get a chance to sample the fishing but I was told the lake was fully stocked. It was late in the season and cold, so I did not spend much time outdoors. The entire park is built upon a field with gravel roads and spaces. There are no concrete pads for RV's. The hookups are in a state of disrepair and in my professional opinion some of the electrical boxes are hazardous. I did not use their restroom facilities while I was there so I cannot comment on them. The staff are quite friendly but the office has short hours. There is a gentleman that stays in a space behind the office who has the authority to assist if needed when the office is closed. The park is right next to Highway 20 so expect truck and road noise constantly. Overall it is a nice stop for a couple days or to use their recreational opportunities at their lake. Their prices are reasonable compared to other parks in the area. I mentioned the folks in the office about the park's state of disrepair and was told there is new ownership and they are addressing the issues.

Called to make same day reservation which was pleasant experience. I was scheduled to arrive around 6pm and host told me she would not be there at that time, but would leave an envelope with registration info on a telephone booth. Arrived at expected time and envelope was waiting as promised, but when i drive to my site there's someone already parked on the site. Unfortunately, the person parked on site and park management were not there to correct this issue. From the looks, the sites were fairly level with gravel. The men's restroom was not secured (The lock had been disabled). Overall this park has potential, but the owner needs to manage the operations properly. Only recommend as a must-stop unplanned visit. The office posted office hours are 12-2pm, so couldn't give feedback in person.

If you ever find yourself on HWY 20 and need a spot to rest your head, this is a good spot to stay. The sites are big enough for my 37 ft Thor and my 20 foot pull behind without a disconnect. Has plenty of power to run everything and the water pressure creates a nice shower flow in the RV. The noise of the highway wasn't noticed during the weekend stay, but as we were packing to leave on a Monday you could tell the traffic had picked up. Either way it was not so much noise that you didn't get any shut eye. The whole campground is gravel, so have your carpet out to keep the dirt out of the RV, but roads are wide and driving through has an easy flow. The people there are the most kind people I have ever met, they were willing to rewire an outlet for me just to ensure I had my 50 amp, but thanks to a late canx they didn't have to. They shut off the sprinkler system for another group so the kids could tent camp, as I said, never seen anyone as accommodating as these folks were. Good Sam discounts all around. If you enjoy a small lake there is plenty to do, fishing (catch release only) and kayaking, along with paddle boards and a wake board system to pull you around (overhead cables) all for a minor fee. A walking path around the lake keeps our four legged friend with lots of smells to discover. Up keep is lacking as things seem a little run down, but when we were there, improvements were in progress. There are security combos on the doors but they didn't seem to function. They laundry area was nice and clean with full size washers. The honor system is all around with the deep freezer holding bags of ice ($2.00 place it in a can) and the sale of wood ($5.00 placed in a box). There are not any fire rings so the use of a fire wood has to be done in a portable fire pit, (they have one you can borrow ) For the two day stay when all others were full up it was worth it. If I needed a quick stop just to put my feet up and cook a steak I would do this again. I wouldn't make it my final destination. Happy RVing!
