We arrived on Wed afternoon after making numerous calls going to voice mail. Old dilapidated building with a good sams logo on it. 3pm not a person in sight. We followed a sine saying camping. Poorly maintained dirt road hoping we would not get stuck. at the end. we found a local fishing group. Who said park anywhere they had not seen anyone all week. They did caution us not to drink the water as it was not safe. Leaving Thursday am still not a person. We did leave a note with our phone number saying... Read More

So sorry I was not available to address your concerns. The resort is closed on Wednesdays and Sundays. However, self registration is available to campers 24/7 at our office door. The road in to the campground has been improved. The water in Nahma is tested regularly and is currently deemed safe for drinking. A dumpster is available on the side of the office bldg. for trash. My apologies that the outhouses were not acceptable. I will certainly check them more frequently and do all that I can to maintain... Read More

We would welcome you back for a night's stay at our expense anytime in the coming year. Please contact me by phone or email if you're interested. Many folks have enjoyed our campground this summer. I'm sorry your experience was not a positive one. I hope you'll give us another try in the future.

We stayed here on a whim for 3 days in August. Be guided by the fact that this area is very remote, tho only 20 minutes from services. It's under new ownership and they've got lots of work to do. It has large grassy sites with 50/30 amp service. You are at the site of an old lumber company that owned the town until 1952. Local residents are the municipal (volunteer) work force. It's very easy to get on the water and you can go out into Lake Michigan from here. There's a 9 hole golf course about... Read More

On the down side for us was the outdoor privies, which filled the bill but were obviously a sign of the past. Staff here are friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay again. It is a unique place. The few campers that were here were return visitors who stay for an expended time in the summer months.
