There is pleasant hiking here, but, given the brevity in the length of the trails, they serve better as saunter than a hike. It's a small State Park. Nonetheless, the woods have a good number of mature oak, maple, and ash trees. Be sure to stop and look up as you hike, for the canopy is impressive. Be sure to also look about you, for the forest floor and edges have a abundance of wildfowers. We enjoyed our stay of five nights and would stay again if in the area.
