First of all, dealing with covid 19 protocol is not easy. However, Four Seasons makes it easy. When I made he reservation they told me they would text me the day prior to my arrival wand dith a procedure to check in. They did exactly as they said they would. When we arrived we were met by a golf kart as soon as we stopped at the office. They signed us in and we followed them to our site. I wish all rv parks were this easy. I feel like they were extremely accommodating and went out of their way to meet our request. We moved to a great spot the next day. Love it!

This is the worst RV park that we have ever wasted our money on. We encountered huge potholes in the roads, unkempt dusty grounds, restrooms that smelled like urine, and a 2-hour karaoke by a pitch-challenged wannabe Toby Keith. We couldn't enjoy the sound of the river because of the overly loud "music" by management, and the sites are jammed packed together. Because of the personality of management, this is a very unfriendly environment. Have a nice RV experience by staying somewhere else!!! Read More

Showed up middle of day, but no one in office. Sign directed me to little closet across the drive, it had a computer that you are to pull up your reservation. Problem was you must log in with a password to open page, that isn't given anywhere. I went back out & waited till the staff came back. That's not fun after hours of driving. Staff stated "oh this is off season we don't really stay in office". I was there at noon? Signage out front was poor, staff never addressed the computer issue. The ground... Read More

If you stay here never take the A spots, because they are right next to busy highway. So loud I had to put in ear plugs to sleep. We only stayed here to visit Salida, we will not stay here again.

I wish I had more positive things to say about this park, but the truth is, it put a real damper on our summer vacation. The park itself is nice enough, but it's far from family-friendly and camper-friendly. If you want a campfire, like most campers, you'll have to either pay for a premium site (good luck finding availability, since there are only a few) to get a fire pit, or they'll try to nickel-and-dime you to the tune of $12/day to rent a little flimsy portable one. Since we meal-plan to grill... Read More

Since we meal-plan to grill most of our meals, this really screwed us. It's not really clear on the website, so we were definitely caught off-guard. Fair enough, I guess you could say that's our fault. In the office, they'll tell you it's an easy fix since they have a fire pit at the "common area." Yeah, that one little 12x12 concrete pad that's supposed to serve 70 groups. If hammocks are also part of your outdoor "camping" experience, you're screwed, unless you carry around those big stand-along hammock stands. Apparently, tying hammocks to their 80-year-old trees is a liability concern (like I'm going to tie up something unsafe for my kids) and you can't tie them to their fenceposts either because they're all falling over. Somehow, that's the campers problem, not the managers of the facility who have clearly neglected the upkeep of the fencing. Now, if you have kids with you, get ready for the dirty looks from all the grumps. They might as well go ahead and convert this place over to a 55 & over park because those are the only people who are made to feel welcomed. That "rec room" might as well be called "the puzzle room" at a retirement village. That's all that happens in there. The pool table was covered up with all kinds of junk, so unusable, and we were told the shuffleboard is off limits too. And, of course, there's no playground or even the slightest green space where the kids can be kids. Again, the message sent at every step is that families and campers aren't welcomed. And whatever you do, don't run out of ice and expect to go buy more at the front office. The sign says they're open until 6pm, but I showed up at around 5 on 2 occasions and it was lights out. Had I known the "office hours" posted on the door were just an estimate, I could've stopped in town and picked up ice. Lastly, they shut off the water to the entire park one morning with no notice to anyone. Guess how many people couldn't fix their breakfast or take their showers. Needless to say, we won't be back. It's a shame because, as I said, it's a nice RV park. It's just not a fit if you have kids, enjoy the outdoors, and are younger than 80.

The review left by Mobile Tin Can hit it on the head!

If you stay, only stay in the river (R) row or the D row across from the river row. It is down the hill, away from the road noise. This park could use some TLC as the roads need smoothing and the electrical needs updating. Our site was about 2" off level but easy to correct. Both the D and river rows are back in. If you want a pull through you're up by the hiway, which is a major tuck route.

I have been going to this park for years and the owners ( owned the park for several years now) pretty much ran it into the ground. Did very little other than keep it going. They tried to sell last year but couldn't , so it looks like this year they decided to do some updating. In their defense , they are super nice and the staff is great. They started doing landscaping and they actually stayed in an RV in the park. I think that will help them see what needs to be done. It needs total electric... Read More

They tried to sell last year but couldn't , so it looks like this year they decided to do some updating. In their defense , they are super nice and the staff is great. They started doing landscaping and they actually stayed in an RV in the park. I think that will help them see what needs to be done. It needs total electric and sewer and bathroom remodel. Breakers kept tripping and the restrooms smelled like sewer even though they were cleaned regularly. Lower level along Arkansas River is very beautiful and appealing, The park is close to town and you can ride your bike if you desire to. Lots of trees (shade) which can make satellite difficult to pick up. WIFi is adequate. They may be doing away with monthly rentals, which usually kept the park full and spaces limited. We love Salida and this park is the place to stay! Just hope they get on with the upgrading!

This campground is a hidden gem! Don't be fooled by what you see from the highway. First time to stay but I will be back! When you drive past this campgroud on the highway, it looks very small and probably has a lot of road noise. The main sites are hidden from view below the hill and sit along the Arkansas river (some sites back right up to it!). The sites are graveled and level, most are back-ins. The staff was friendly and helpful, the setting is BEAUTIFUL, the campground was quite, relaxing... Read More

I plan on going back and staying a few days next time. Very friendly staff. Did not use the restrooms, but have a feeling they are well maintained based on the rest of the facility

Very run down! Electrical system outdated circuit breaker kept tripping without overloading. We stayed at the upper campsites and it is noisy because it is close to the main highway. Sites are very small could barely open my slide it was too close to the tree. Making a left turn into the campground is risky there is no turn lane and traffic is going 60 mph.

This could very easily be a really great RV park. The beautiful Arkansas river runs right through it. Most of the sites are very nice. Level, long and wide. WiFi was very good. Water pressure was very good. Owners were fantastic in every way. The park is just right outside of town, and is very peaceful and serene. Just be sure to bring your hummingbird feeder! Sadly, the park is in dire need of a major overhaul. It is very run down in appearance. The bathrooms were very disappointing in every... Read More

The fences and guard rails have not been painted in years. We will stay here again, just because it is the only RV park for miles around.
