NOT RECOMMENDED. Not worth the money at all. Didn't see anyone the entire time that I was there. It's a large gravel lot behind a house. You don't have ANY access to the water at all and can't hear the ocean at all. The water service was leaking. Internet was non existent. Only good thing was that they had a laundry facility. Good thing it was only a stop on the way up the coast. Would not stay more than 1 day if at all.
nice and clean. the front office staff was good. you could hear the sea but there was no getting to it. the overnight stops were a little tight.
Well, it's a gravel lot for the most part. And large pieces of gravel at that- so much that it was almost tough to walk on and not fun for the little pup. We could hear the harbor seals right from our site which was neat. The wifi wasn't great. Patrick's Point State Park is very close and it is another short drive to Redwoods NP. We stayed just for one night which was good- we wouldn't have been too thrilled if we stayed for much longer (prefer more nature-y feel to the gravel lot feel). There was... Read More

Word to the wise, don't camp here! I would stay in a Walmart parking lot before I would stay here. False advertisement..can not hear the sea from this campground, period. It's not a quick path walk to the beach. It's a long walk down a busy road with no shoulder and across road and through a park to reach the sea. The campground is not 13 acres. There is no 'mini museum' in the office. The owner is beyond rude and should not be in this business. The sites are extremely tight. Neighbors poop hose... Read More

Barely can open slide outs. Sliver of grass. This guy put a gravel parking lot in his back yard and slams RVs in like sardines. Yes, I was a sardine fish in a place I couldn't see or hear the sea. Pass on this place. The worst RV park (if you want to call it that) that we have ever experienced. We've always trusted Good Sam's recommendations but this one is all wrong. Please drop this campground from your book!

When visiting the Redwoods NP area, we stayed at this small and quiet park right off 101. The sites are gravel, but very close to each other in the area they put us. They have a small bathroom and shower with a coin operated laundry room. The water pressure is extremely low and the wifi does not work.
This is a down home park with a very friendly, helpful staff. They were very helpful in suggesting places to eat and things to see. Having Patrick's Point State park right across the street is a big plus. We were able to see the whales in the park when we were there. We will return.
I enjoyed how close to the ocean we were able to stay, the facilities were a little dated and could use some updating. Dog run was large but could use some cleaning and bushes trimmed. Overall nice place for the price. Will be back next year.
Wonderful campground! Owners are helpful, pleasant and very accommodating. Campsites are open, clean and have full hookups. Location overlooks the ocean and you can hear the sounds of the sea - seals barking, surf on the rocks, etc. Close enough to town, yet far enough away to be quiet and avoid town traffic. Easy to get to and many things to do and sights to see.
The cleanliness of this park is terrible. The men's room has been without toilet paper for two days. The showers are out of date, no bench, no shelves, no hooks, seriously dirty. The dumpster has been overflowing for the three days we have been here. The lower level of the campground has not been modified to accept RV's with slide outs. RV's are within two feet of each other. They need to take out a few spaces to accommodate larger units. Interior roads are in need of repair. Brush and tree limbs... Read More

dutch 1895 Our men's room has three toilets with backup rolls of tissue at each. The showers have a bench seating and clothes rack on the wing wall, a dedicated janitor checks and cleans every 3 hrs from 10 am to 10 pm. The dumpster area is checked and cleaned at 8 am 12 pm and 8 pm 7 days a week. The lower level back-in lots are 40 ft wide by 60 ft long and a minimum of 20 ft from the adjacent RV. Our pull-thru is 30 ft X 100 ft. Interior roads are paved and gravel and kept in good repair. Our... Read More

I hope people will look at years of reviews before they judge our RV park and operations based on someone that does not use there true name........but a military rifle?
