This is more of a Camp than a Resort. There are many (their website makes it seem like there are only a few but that's not the case) pretty level dirt sites with E/W/S hookups scattered at reasonable spacing around an old growth redwood forest. There are also tent sites, cabins, and a lodge that looks nice from the outside. The pub has a short menu but the food was better than we've had at any other RV park. We didn't sample the bathrooms or laundry. You're really out in the woods here so there's... Read More

Depending on what you're looking for, this will be one of your best camping experiences ever or a really disappointing RV stay.

Older facility that could use some TLC. Had a pull thru- site with full hookups (WES) and plenty of space. Part of the campground's restrooms were closed for the season which was expected for early November. Half of the laundry equipment was out of order - both washers & dryers. Wifi is an extra $4/day and is spotty. Store in office has essentials. 1 1/2 lane wide road in entry way makes for a tight fit with exiting traffic. Entry is immediately south of a bridge on US-101 on a curve which... Read More

There were three big speed bumps (marked) in the drive so you need to ease over them. There were several playgrounds and a small basketball court. Staff were willing to work on resolving problems in a reasonable fashion.
