I liked the park and the staff was outstanding but the facilities are dated especially the restrooms. Upgrade of the facilities would make this park 4 to 5 stars easy. Had a nice time there.
The facility was nice, providing you're very interested in using the Colorado River during your stay. There was very little grass, and when the wind kicked up it got dusty. Across the road there was some nice off road trails and some dunes not too far away. About 6 miles from the campground I was told about a small canyon where it was safe to do some target shooting. People, both staff and campers where quite friendly and helpful. The bathrooms, though dated, were quite clean.
Great facility. Only downside is that it's a 'membership' site, similar to buying a timeshare (although there are also a lot of differences). Well equiped, on the River. While there is a large river frontage, most of it was taken up by members of the site who were there before us. No beachside access to non-members. Fairly high-pressure sales pitch goes along with your complimentary stay. If you're a CONSTANT RV'er, this is a great deal. If, however, you're like us and are in the RV 30 days... Read More
