Loud during the day when we arrived at around 2 ish. tHere was a lot of yard and maintenance work. Level rv pads. There was a lot of highways noise at night and dogs barking. All hook ups (water, sewer and electric) available. Showers available but you need Canadian dollars ( coins) also rv wash but you also need Canadian coins to operate them. It was overall an ok stay. Open year round and have plenty of spaces.

Like most campgrounds in the north, gravel and dirt sites, pros- restaurant, ice cream, gift shop. Cons poor wifi, narrow sites. Go to visitor center for better wifi

A nice park with very friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant on site and park has all the usual amenities, like fire pits, cable, picnic tables, wood, laundry and showers. A very nice jumping off point for trip North or South.

We camped at the Triple G Hideaway RV park for one night during the third week of May 2018. This RV park is right on the Alaska Highway on the western outskirts of Ft. Nelson, BC making it extremely easy to find and easy to get into. I checked in with a very pleasant staff member upon arrival. She quickly got me checked in, gave a great overview of the park's facilities and showed me the best way to maneuver my large 5th wheel into my campsite. Nelson, BC making it extremely easy to find and easy to get into. I checked in with a very pleasant staff member upon arrival. She quickly got me checked in, gave a great overview of the park's facilities and showed me the best way to maneuver my large 5th wheel into my campsite. Our site was in the trees near the front of the park. The campsites are close together, but I found we had enough space to be very comfortable there overnight. We had water, sewer, 50 amp electric, cable TV and a decent WiFi signal at our campsite for $36 (USD) without any discounts. There was little grass immediately around our campsite but we found plenty of grassy areas to walk our dogs in most areas of the RV Park. We enjoyed a nice slice of pie in their very popular restaurant that evening. The Triple G Hideaway RV Park restaurant and store fronts are built to look like an old western town, a positive for the overall visual appeal of this RV park. While the park is beginning to show its age, the owners are working to maintain it. We saw remodeling projects and some landscaping work in progress during our stay. Although the park is immediately adjacent to the Alaska Highway, it was surprisingly quiet overnight. We had no trouble getting a great night rest here. We did not use the public restroom or showers during our stay. The best features of this RV park are the trees, grassy areas, restaurant, pleasant staff working there and convenience off the Alaska Hwy. That's enough to make me say that I would stay at the Triple G Hideaway RV Park the next time through Ft. Nelson.

Stayed 2 nights en route to Alaska and also 2 nights in August on the way home (FL). Yes, they accept caravans. Caravan people, both staff and participants, can be rude, obnoxious and overbearing. Expect that, and then you won't be disappointed. That said, they also take reservations for single RVs or, as in our case, groups traveling together. Even tent campers and motorcycle campers. Facilities are okay, on-site restaurant and bar are nice. I don't complain about wifi or cable because our... Read More

Facilities are okay, on-site restaurant and bar are nice. I don't complain about wifi or cable because our idea is to get away from those distractions. Didn't use the laundry or restrooms, so can't comment on those. (Can't submit a review without giving them a score, however). RV sites were level and pull throughs easy to maneuver with room for our 5er and pickup. Previous reviews were a little harsh, I think, maybe because of their dealings with the caravan people. Adequate food, fuel, retail opportunities in Ft Nelson proper. A good stopover for a few nights heading north or south. I would stay here again.

Made reservations in Feb for 2 nights and when we arrived were put toward the dusty back. No tv, could not connect to wifi. All the appearance they cater to the caravans who stay overnight. Staff of caravans want you to move out of the way for them also. Nope!

The sites are large and shady and the electricity does work. The WiFi does NOT work. The whole place is extremely old and in dire need of simple basic maintenance. The picnic table was a warped and broken piece of plastic junk. The restrooms are absolutely filthy and in very poor condition with doors that don't close properly. The showers are NOT free and have clumps of rotting hair in the corners and drains clogged with who knows what. You must wear shower shoes. This is one of the most expensive... Read More
