We stayed here for the entire month of December. It's an age-qualified, 55+ community, full of very active adults. The RV parking area accommodates approx 18 RVs. They're usually fully reserved for the entire winter season (December through March) a year in advance. We were lucky that a couple had a last-minute cancellation which opened it up to us (we were on a waiting list). RVers are typically couples who've been returning from colder climates for many years during the winter months. The... Read More

We were lucky that a couple had a last-minute cancellation which opened it up to us (we were on a waiting list). RVers are typically couples who've been returning from colder climates for many years during the winter months. The majority of the park is a very well-kept community of full-time mobile homes, many of whose exteriors have been amazingly updated. There are so many activities that are ongoing each week that they distribute a 10-page newsletter. Offering everything from woodworking, sewing, glass arts, Texas Hold 'Em poker games, bingo, golf, putting, two beautiful pools with great hot tubs/saunas and nice bathrooms, a large hall, on-site cafe, pickleball, tennis, and so much more, if you're bored then you must just be antisocial. Nice laundry room with 15+ washers/dryers that were economically priced. Gated security, and yes they're strict with rules & speeders (complete with speed camera). Heavily concentrated with Canadians, it's quite fun to listen their take on the U.S. media and politics these days. My husband and I toured about six other 55+ RV communities searching for other locations that may have openings. None was as nice as Venture Out. I almost hesitate to write such a nice review as we'd like to keep this place a secret from other competitors trying to get a space at the same time we want! In case you're interested (it was important to us), the PHX airport is only a 25 minute drive (off rush-hour), so it's convenient if you need to travel.
