We wanted to stay 3 nights to visit the nearby national park so we made reservations 3 weeks ahead of our arrival by phone. No confirmation number was given for the reservation but confirmed the dates multiple times before ending the conversation. When we arrived as scheduled, we were not on the arrivals list. All of the sites were full. The clerk asked for the name of the person who took the reservation. Don't know what good that would do as it wouldn't resolve the error in the reservation.... Read More

Don't know what good that would do as it wouldn't resolve the error in the reservation. The same for a confirmation number. Our reservation was entered for the following month. Only an apology was offered for the mistake. Had to call around to find another park. Even though we didn't stay here, we did get to see the park as we had to drive through it to get out. The roads were sufficient to maneuver our 41' MH with a towed. The sites appeared fairly level but there didn't seem to be much room between them. And from the collection of items at several sites, there seemed to be a lot of long term residents. There were some trees that could create an obstacle to satellite reception. The park is a short distance from town requiring a drive rather than a walk. The park is off a 4 lane divided highway at a light controlled intersection so it isn't that difficult to get out. Probably did better staying at another location over this one. TIP: If you choose to go here, make reservations as the park is small. No way to confirm your reservation is accurately entered and there is nothing if the reservation is fouled up. The only safeguard to ensure your reservation is the park calls you a day before to confirm your arrival. But by then you may still not have a site. But at least you won't drive there to find out your reservation was fouled up!

"not accepting Good Sam cards at this time" although referred by Good Sam, no discount ! This is a modern RV park which has mostly long term residents. You can tell how long by the "stuff" around the RVs. The few spaces that are available for short term use are at the entrance among longer term campers. That being said the grounds were clean and the wifi was strong. There is no cable but OTA tv stations abound. All the services and shops of a large city are nearby in Yakima.

Nice place. Close in to do things in Yakima. Also close to the Hwy. but with a very effective screen of spruce trees so you don't hear hardly any traffic noise as well as can't see the hwy. Lots of full timers but they really did not detract from anything. Would definitely stay here again.
