This is great RV camping and within walking distance on the brewery and restaurants. The scenery at Devils Backbone Basecamp is breathtaking. The sites are a bit close, but the other amenities outweigh this concern. Sharing of the water and electric pedestal was a bit awkward, but workable. There are 25 full hook up, pull through sites. Also available are back in dry sites and tent camping. The restrooms were spotless. The grounds were clean, as well as the dumping station and trash container areas.... Read More

We ate at The Summit for breakfast. The food was good and best of all, local. We ordered the Farm Fresh with local eggs and meat. The sausage was good, but bacon was outstanding. It was reasonably priced at about $15 for two with water to drink. Specialty coffee and drinks are available. For dinner, we ate at the full dinner menu restaurant. Again, local food. The pork BBQ was tasty. The others in our party had the special of the day, beef brisket. They loved it. Oh, and let's not forget the smoked deviled eggs appetizer. They were a hit too. I believe anything on their menu would be a great choice. There are numerous breweries, wineries and cideries near this campground. All and all a wonderful area to visit. Looking forward to our next visit.
