The Salt Lake City KOA is our 103rd stop (2nd time here) and stayed 1 night. Right in town and close to Walmart and Costco for supplies after being 3 weeks remote. This time near the back of the park and less noise. Registration process took less than a minute. Construction at the pool/hot tub area. Sites are paved but still needed to level and for the water, was told a pressure regulator was needed – and it was. A solid KOA and would stay here again if in the area. Good location if you want to be downtown but no security so the mentally challenged & homeless are all around & even come through the park. Didn’t feel safe.

This is the 45th park we have visited and stayed for 7 nights. A nice oasis in an urban/industrial setting very convenient to freeways/airport and just minutes from downtown Salt Lake (and yes, you can hear trains but have that experience at numerous parks). The park was decently maintained and as other reviewers pointed out, there is a large contingent of longer-term residents - they keep their sites and rvs in good order. The park was decently maintained and as other reviewers pointed out, there is a large contingent of longer-term residents - they keep their sites and rvs in good order. The interior roads are all paved as are the pads with a concrete patio and there was adequate spacing between you and your neighbor. The best thing for the park are the mature trees as we were there when temperatures were in the upper 80s. Contrary to other reviewers, I did not find the trees to be an issue when navigating my rv through the park. The amenities were many and were well-maintained (playground, basket ball courts, pool, bathhouses, etc.). The dog park was large and shaded and had a wash station. I would definitely consider staying here in the future. Not linked to my review itself but would have to say this was one of the worst parks for people to follow basic rules. Families and couples with dogs walking across the patio (multiple times), yelling across multiple rows to your rv, not picking up after your dogs when there are bags provided throughout the park, and primarily for the longer term residents, leaving dogs off-leash and unattended to charge my dogs (daily) and speeding through the park. Come on people!

Beware! Train horns for long periods of time throughout the middle of the night. Dogs barking late at night and early morning. Front office rarely answers phone. With 2 people behind each counter, no reason guests calls should be ignored so often. Located downtown next to factories, not a nice view. They mix in full time residents in this park so you lose the resort feel. The full timers on side closest to office drive thru with their music blaring and base thumping. They mix in full time residents in this park so you lose the resort feel. The full timers on side closest to office drive thru with their music blaring and base thumping. They also take up the extra parking because they use their driveways for storage. (Again taking away from the resort feel that we pay extra for at koa parks) Did I mention getting woke up by dogs being allowed to bark very early? When you leave the park you're met with a factory, office buildings, homeless camps, and building demolition. The owners are not on site and that usually makes a big difference. If you're not getting woke up by train horns between 2 and 5a every 15 minutes, then the dogs barking will get you before 7a. This is not your typical resort like koa. It's not in a good location. Staff doesn't answer phones. In one week we tried calling approx 15 times at different times of day and literally only got thru 3 times. Also internet is very spotty. Goes out quite a bit for short durations and is slow when running. Even their premium sites are on top of each other. As we walked thru you can see that the only view an RV has is another RV. Might be fine for an overnight stop but I certainly wouldn't pay the higher prices to stay longer. It was a big disappointment for us and when we come back to this area, we won't stay here. **and noticing other reviews, the owner seems to only address the good reviews so that in itself says the owners really dont care if you were unhappy with your stay. And I'm guessing whatever complaints are made fall on deaf ears. Should probably contact koa corporate if you feel your complaint needs to be addressed.

Great place to stay when visiting the area. Fairly easy to maneuver. People are nice and there are nice tours to take right from RV Park. Lots of trees, so you cannot use satellite dish. Don't follow Google or you wind up going through town. Come in from the west.

One of the best campgrounds I've ever stayed at. Full hook-ups and pull-thrus on Shady Lanes. Pool and hot tub. Close to bike path and public transit with easy access to the city center.

Long term tenets area is very clean... the entire park is very clean. If you are looking for a quiet and clean park where you can sit outside and relax. go here. Loved this park! the only thing is the restrooms could use a little maintenance. The toilet I used rocked when sat on. The park had nice grass between the sites and despite being in the city got real quite at night.

The KOA is located in an older section of SLC, but their security patrols the grounds, giving you the comfort of safety and attentiveness. We were in a 24"motorhome, easy in/out, we had large 5th wheels on either side and still had ample room as did they. This park is highly recommended, the light rail system goes to the terminal at Salt Lake International, as to all of the more important areas that you would like to go, all without parking hassles and fees Depending on your RV, you will not hear any traffic/train noise, we could hear the trains about a 1/4 mile away but it was not an issue for us you could barely hear them. This park is convenient to everything, centrally located.

This was our first stay at this facility. It was easy to find as we arrived off I-15 and easy to get onto I-80 when we departed. The facility was very large with many long term pads. Picnic tables were provided at each site. We used the laundry area and it was clean, 14 top load washers and 9 front load dryers. There were many trees and most pads had shade. Pad site was long enough for our 33 ft fifth wheel and crew cab dis-connected. We would stay again!

One of the best we have stayed at. Urban setting but with all the trees and shade a country feel. Nice level pads with lots of room. Great price for what you get.

The light rail is super convenient, even though we had our tow car, going downtown was a breeze, with frequent trams, the price is right too. We took the tram all the way down to South Towne Centre, fast, clean, safe. We came back in the night/dusk hours. The KOA is located in an older section of SLC, but their security patrols the grounds, giving you the comfort of safety and attentiveness. We were in a 40' motorhome with tow, easy in/out, ample room for I would say even the larger 5th wheels we watched come/go during our stay, without problems. This park is highly recommended, the light rail system goes to the terminal at Salt Lake International, as to all of the more important areas that you would like to go, all without parking hassles and fees Not a lot of space between each RV, but "spacey" enough so you don't feel "jammed" in. When we checked in, the hostess at the front desk, said if we didn't like out space assigned, come back for a different one!! What a change, rarely is this offered. Depending on your RV, you will not hear any traffic/train noise, we were unaware of the trains about a 1/4 mile away, more/less, until we walked over to the light rail to take it downtown to Temple Square. This park is convenient to everything, centrally located.

A little pricey on the daily rate but the weekly and monthly are good deals. Nice park overall, good location within a few blocks of downtown. Light rail (not noisy) station directly across the street, if you don't want to drive. Park is overall good condition. Don't know about the showers/restrooms because I don't use them at any campgrounds. I would stay here again

Bathrooms are open bay and dirty. There are 3 showers, two toilets, and 3 sinks. Pull in wide sites with uneven gravel pads. Water, elect, and sewer connections need updating. Good reception area. Staff was courteous and friendly. Park is in poor shape be prepared for uneven roads to your site. Lots of train noise at all hours night and day. Lots of people coming and going at all hours of the night. Lots of standing water after a rain. A very old camp
