This campground is located in a remote area that requires driving on some desolate side roads. Our first thought was that we were lost, and then our RV GPS tried to take us to a local private ranch (what?) Luckily we didn't panic due to the excellent signage that directed us to the right location. Thank you Pleasant Creek staff! And it was an absolute steal at $11.00 per night through RPI. Great price! We stayed for 5 nights in pull-through full hookup gravel site #30. The FHU sites are constructed sideways on a hill so they are not entirely level. Everything else was great though. Sadly this place is overwhelmed with flies. My wife and I have stayed in 100+ campgrounds over the last 2.5 years, and we have never seen so many of these pesky little critters. Perhaps that is a function of the Utah climate? On a more positive note, views of the surrounding mountains were incredible. Campground is also incredibly quiet. Average bathrooms and showers. One of the men's showers was missing a showerhead. The free wifi worked great at our site for 4 of the 5 days. We were also able to program over the air TV channels NBC, FOX and PBS. My AT&T phone had 2 bars and my wife's Verizon phone had 3 bars. Excellent local grocery store called Terrel's Market about 5 miles away. Free DVDs available in the office. Office also has a small store that stocks basic items for purchase.
