Hidden gem of an RV Resort just 40 minutes from San Antonio! Large shaded lake front pull through sites. Well maintained. Abundant wildlife, deer and a great bird watching place. Fun events! Peaceful. Friendly people and warm hospitality all over the resort!

This park didn't get the best reviews but it depends on what you are looking for. It's beautifully rustic overlooking the lake. Deer everywhere. My particular site was almost perfectly level. We came in at night (which I don't suggest) and it was dramatic but not horrible. The road in had some twists and turns so just expect that. Not much in the way of TV channels but they charge accordingly. Only 31.50 for the night. Like I say, not a lot of bells and whistles but incredibly beautiful area.

If you want to stay in no where, 45 mins to anything ok. Deer all over the place so watch out for droppings. Web site say cable tv. Not so and no local tv also. Park is old and not kept up don't believe the pictures that you see online. Pool is a mess like everything else.

Beautiful location, spacious sites, very friendly staff, fishing was ok, hubby caught one small bass. WiFi was not accessible and tv channels sparce. Dog park was tiny but did allow our dog to go off leash for a bit. Tons of wildlife; lots of cows and horses as we drove in, a herd of deer came around our site at dusk every night and we were visited by an owl looking for his prey. The fireflies were exciting to watch through the meadow. We'll stay here again.

Very friendly staff. Nice place to stay, but it can be a little tough to find the first time! Campsites are clean and provide great space between neighbors.
