Campground is convenient off Interstate however I would not consider this a 9 or a 9.5 rating I think Good Sam’s need to send fielders out and re grade their campgrounds. This is an older campground small and tight for big rigs. I requested a pull through so we wouldn’t have to disconnect car as it was only an over night and we couldn’t pull into spot straight with car attached so we had to disconnect. Also there are more seasonal low end campers than transients. Clientele was not friendly when... Read More

Clientele was not friendly when we left in the morning a car pulled up behind us and I asked them if they could move up a bit and we were ignored as we had to back up to pull forward to get out of our space. Campground is clean but should not advertise or accept any units over 35’. Will not be going back

Beautiful setting, people were friendly and welcoming. It'll be even better when people take down their political yard signs and flags.
Great campground. Clean, gravel sites. So you have to level, big deal. Great pool, pond for catch and release. Nice playground for kids. Activities. Great escape, booked for 2 nights, stayed for 4! Lots of seasonal sites, but temp sites were separate from those. Friendly staff, no issues
Positives- Hot strong showers, our site was a fairly level pull-thru, warm pool. Negatives- Rules are not enforced: loud foul language until after midnight. Dogs allowed to defecate on our site, even after complaining. The sites are narrow with barely room to open the awning Not much to do. We will not recommend nor return.
I'm amazed at the older good reviews here. If you travel as we do from north to south and east to west you can't rate this one very high. On a scale of 1-10 this is about a 4 or 5 unless it's the only campground other than your back yard that you've ever visited. Granted we were early season (May) campers arriving in a 40' class A and were assured no reservation needed as "there's plenty of PULL THRU spots". On a scale of 1-10 this is about a 4 or 5 unless it's the only campground other than your back yard that you've ever visited. Granted we were early season (May) campers arriving in a 40' class A and were assured no reservation needed as "there's plenty of PULL THRU spots". It turns at that they really aren't pull throughs unless you plan on unhooking your toad and backing out. Upon arrival was told there was really only one spot we could use because the slides would hit a tree in the other(?) The place was nearly empty except for the full time unoccupied trailers. The lanes going up into the grounds have spots you pull off into but are too narrow for two vehicles to pass, spots are on top of each other, and are not paved, maintained, or level. Heavily sloped. We didn't even have a picnic table but the sites are so narrow there wasn't room for one. Fences around the grounds and garbage areas are falling down or broken and require paint etc. The sites are ridiculously uneven requiring blocks or lots of fiddling with jacks that can't manage the slopes. Many (empty) full time trailers that are apparently seasonal, left in disarray with boards and cinderblocks in futile attempts to get them level.
We could not pull out of our spot without cutting across a muddy strip between the lanes. I was lucky to make it without hitting our neighbors class A. We called the office for WIFI info because we neglected to ask upon arrival. There was ZERO paperwork or information provided. We were told we'd have to actually go back to the office because there were "special instructions". There's a pretty messy apartment attached to the main office inside with dog urine on the floor next to the front desk. Anyway, I walked back to find the office empty. After calling out and ready to leave someone saw me waving and walked up to the building only to tell me (very politely), that you simply pull it up on your phone etc., and follow the instructions. Then you had to pay a fee for it, but "It isn't very good and you'll not get on easily if at all(?). So glad they had me walk back instead of saying that on the phone. I used our jet pack instead. Ridiculous!
I feel bad leaving this negative review but the ONLY reason we stayed one night was due to the 9 ranking in the Good Sam book. No way this is at that level no matter how clean they make it. I was too bummed to even try the bathrooms -if they were open.
There's plenty of land to make this park a 9 or 10 but it's obvious that maintenance is not in the forefront of the owners' mind. It's basically a step up from a Cracker Barrel parking lot, but only because they had hookups. The office people were friendly inefficient but polite in any case.

During my stay you had to pay with cash only. This put me in a bind because I wasn't expecting it. Then I got to my site and leveled up my trailer put out my slides and everything, just to discover I had no electric due to a worn-out receptacle. I had to move and reset up again all over. I was never told or shown anything about the facility. I didn't even know where the washrooms were. I never even got a cash receipt, to show I even paid. I felt like a prisoner there, and was eager to get out of... Read More

Park has rusty water that comes out of your faucets so don't fill your tank! Listing makes it seem like the wifi is free & there's a charge. High rate for the type of park it is.
