It is on the river and close to chimney rock. But poorly run and do not even attempt with more than a 20 ft. Rv. Restrooms ery poor. Would not recommend.

This is a rare gem. While a bit rustic, camping for tents to motor homes is available right on the river. It is wonderful to sleep listening to bubbling water. During the day you can wade or tube in the cool water. The quaint town of Chimney Rock is an easy walk from the campground. It has restaurants and gift shops. Lake Lure and the flowering bridge are nearby as well as an Ingles and local vegetable stands and too much to list. The owners are very friendly. This is a true family run campground! Read More
