Campground is located in the beautiful McDowell Nature Preserve. The scenery is spectacular, the hiking trails are fabulous, the people are super nice, the campground is pet friendly - not much more one could ask for in terms of a place to spend a quiet, relaxing few days. The overall score would have been 5 star except for the fact that are only a limited number of sites that are suitable for a large RV and several of the sites are a bit of a challenge in terms of leveling. But, having said that, I would simply recommend that when making a reservation, be fairly specific with the staff there in terms of your requirements and I'm confident they will work with you as much as possible to make your stay enjoyable. In closing, if you're looking for a resort with pool, spa, games, etc., this probably isn't for you. But, if you simply want to relax and enjoy nature, then be sure to check it out.
