We stayed 15 nights at the West Glacier KOA and thoroughly enjoyed it. Yes it is a bit pricey but it is a beautiful park with great landscaping, a wide offering of amenities, and you can be in the Glacier National Park in less than 15 minutes! We liked it so much, we have already booked additional days in 2022. The front of the park near the office is where all the action is with the pools, playground, café and ice cream shop. But the rv sites are nicely separated from it so you don’t necessarily experience all of the noise. They had singers, fly fishing demonstrations and many things to engage a family. It is a large park with beautiful views with a more “mature” section with thicker landscaping between the sites and the “newer” section with more space and grass between the pads. And the views from anywhere in the park were great. As it is a large park, there is a lot of walking you can do including the nature walk. All together, it is roughly a mile around the outside of the park perimeter plus you have some additional walking space on the main road. If you have dogs, the walking options are excellent plus they have two dog parks with the one in the “newer” section is very large and both have grass covering them. We did not use the bath house but felt the cost of the laundry was a bit high. The utilities were good and had no issues. And be aware the WiFi is marginal at best (park was full most of the time we were there) and cellular was okay but this is clear on their website and materials plus you are in the wilderness. Unplug and enjoy! In terms of the staff, the office/store staff were always personal and professional when I had contact with them. The maintenance crew always greeted me with a wave or hello and hats off to the younger workers/students who were an outstanding addition. Would definitely recommend this park.

Great KOA just a couple of miles from the entrance to Glacier National Park. The park is everything you want from an RV park in the mountains with the single exception of working WiFi. The sites are gravel and long. The majority of the big rig sites are pull through with cabin, small RV sites and tent sites scattered around the park. They have some of the nicest bathrooms and showers that I've experienced on the road. They have two pools with one for families and the second for adults along... Read More

1 of the nicest rv resorts you will ever find. Nicely landscaped sites. Great restaurant on site as well as an ice cream parlor. Staff was awesome. have stayed in 24 different campgrounds on this 7000 mile excursion and this one is far and above the best.

This is a huge, expensive park. Some sites are very attractive and spacious, and some are seedy and too close. Your neighbor's fire ring is too close to your coach. They advertise wifi but when you check in they tell you it is limited to a few places, so basically worthless. No cable TV. They have lots of things for kids and even an adult pool. As is getting too typical, they have a long list of rules that nobody enforces. Their employees speed through the park raising dust. We would find... Read More

This is a very clean, large campground surrounded by mountains and woods. The sites, which are well manicured and level, range from basic tent sites to cabins to large deluxe pull-thru sites with a concrete patio, fire pit with benches, a large table, umbrella and six chairs and a large gas barbeque grill. The deluxe sites are also well landscaped with small bushes and trees. Amenities are plentiful and include a small snack bar which serves breakfast and dinner and an ice cream store. Utilities... Utilities were good with the exception of WiFi. I am a former IT professional and I found it unusable. I realize it is expensive to install and maintain good WiFi and I also realize you come to this area to sight-see but this is a very expensive resort type park and they should invest in a good system which can be used when needed especially on poor weather days and late evenings. This would be a five star park if their WiFi worked. We stayed in a Class A motorhome.
