This is a rustic campground carved from the side of the hill. Convenient to Flathead Lake and Glacier NP (although due to Covid-19 the park was over-crowded). We are permanent RVers who are familiar with the area. Most of the sites are pleasant, the abundant trees providing a natural surrounding. It doesn't have lots of lights, which was a plus for us. The most difficult part was navigating the gravel-covered roads. Many people go too fast (in spite of the 5 mph speed limit) and several had problems... Read More

Many people go too fast (in spite of the 5 mph speed limit) and several had problems navigating their rigs into their spots because they spun. The biggest problem was the screaming, whining child next to us the second week we were there (obviously not the park's fault). We would stay there again.

Very disappointed. We had made and confirmed reservations over the phone and asked for email confirmation. I received a confirmation a few days later with our actual site number. We drove from Washington and upon arrival we told they did not have a reservation for us and had nothing else to offer. I showed them my reservation letter and was told this has never happened before. They said "sorry". Nothing else available anyplace close. This is unacceptable poor management. This place is dark, hilly,... Read More

Our first stop on 2019 vacation and a wonderful campground to stay in,with a new pet companion Natasha (Kitten),accidentally scared into the woods. Notified the owners of the park of situation, being owners of several cats, they notified new arrivals of this, she came back to our Motor Home the 2nd evening. The 3.day we were having sewer problems, went to the owners again, gave us several names of Mobile RV Services ( all to busy) we drove to Kalispell, Mt. ( RV sales & repair) no luck. back to... Travel Trailer sites are extremely close together and are carved into the side of a mountain. Very steep access roads. There was no room for our pet to walk in. We were only given the Good Sams discount on the first three days of stay rather than the entire time.
