The Takeaway: an older campground, dominated by permanent residents, with close and easy access to/from I80 (once the entrance and exit route challenges are overcome). A very reasonably priced campground offering resort amenities at the adjacent Adventureland Amusement Park. Good for a stopover or a vacation with children to enjoy the amusement, water park, circus, etc. as well as the diverse food stand offerings. A Midwest resort in prairie country. We visited May 2019. We stayed for one night. When I called to make the reservation, I was told that if we arrived after 5:00p.m., to check-in at the hotel. I had no idea this was part of an amusement park. Even though their season has not started yet this place was very busy and the campground was almost full. After an easy check-in, we drove over to the park, where they had someone on the gate to assist you, we found our spot. As I said the park was pretty full but what a nice park. There was plenty of room for us to sit and relax outside on the lawn, didn't feel crowded at all They have a nice rec room and pool. The whole park was well cared for. The pull-thru spaces were very long and mostly level with full hook-ups. The wifi was not so great at all. We don't have pets but saw lots of people walking theirs around the park. Would definitely stay here again for an extended period. Don't know how noisy it would be after the amusement park starts up but if you're looking for a place with lots to do nearby, this is it.

I can't believe a facility of this magnitude doesn't offer any type of recycling for their guests. This is the 21st century for heavens sakes and the importance of recycling is huge...
