Nice Florida state park with good hiking and Hillsborough River views. Some of the facilities were closed due to the pandemic. We were in site #109 which was somewhat separated from the neighbors. Bath facilities were clean, but quite old. Washer and dryer worked fine. Host drives around in a golf cart selling firewood and ice. Fine touch! Sites are dirt and sand which remain wet after a rain, even days later. If the sites could ever be gravel this would boost the rating. 30 amp and water. Dump... Read More

Dump station can get backed-up as it serves about 100 sites. Park is close to shopping, restaurants, etc..

Arrived after heavy rain storm so some sites & the access roads had standing water. Gave lower rating because the campsites are so close together. There was a long line for the dump station (only one) so if you have so many campsites maybe another dump station would be helpful. Restrooms are functional but just basic. The park is large and if the weather would allow, there are lots to explore & see.
