We have spent two long weekends at Myakka River Motorcoach Resort (Dec. 2019 and Jan. 2020). We live close by so it's a nice long weekend retreat without too much effort. The resort is beautiful and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Once we checked in, we were escorted to our site and parked. All sites are pavered and have a patio area for outdoor lounging. Some sites have amenities and basic table and chairs. We have stayed on both the river view and the lake view sites. The views are beautiful and the people are friendly. The park is beautifully lit in the evening and is peaceful to walk. The clubhouse and pool areas are clean and beautiful.
We travel with a German Shepherd and Corgi so pet amenities are important to us. There are two large fenced areas in the dog park. It's easy walking around the park with trash bins for dog waste strategically located. All pets must be on leash.
We love this resort and look forward to going back soon.
