How in the name of all good campers did these people get high marks in rating this campground ! all i can say is the grounds were green. you are charged high price for a patch of that green ground.. if you intend to go here don't expect anything more. it's a shame, this used to be a top shelf place at one time..
Way overpriced. no facilities. no toilets, laundry, pool- nothing ! management is not accessable until noon. you are met at checki-in with a sign stating "CLOSED". utilities are at best sparse and intermittent. save your money . After 43 years camping this aint worth the money..
Good Sam please re-evaluate your rating of this place. Super expensive, not paved, not level, no amenities- no bathrooms, no pool, no campground store, weak wi-fi, cable didn't work. This place is awful for the big dollars they are asking. Huge disappointment.
We have stayed here many times....we love the sites up top. COVID has reduced their services but still very nice.
We lived in the area and moved out of state, so we had never stayed there before, I knew a lot of construction people stayed there because they are open year round, we decided to stay there when visiting or son and family, everything is closed, they are only booking every other site and when I asked about my 6 and 10 year old coming to visit, we were told no visitors, when I told her how excited my grandson was to see the motorhome her response was take a picture!!!! I gave it a 1 star because that's... Read More

Needs to be I updated , no activities,no curb appeal or charm to it ,
I do not know how Good Sams Club determines the guidelines of their ratings but in our opinion this campground is far from 10/10/10. We did not use the restrooms but our site was backed up right on top of one (great view ugh). Site was level and the staff when calling to make reservations and at check in were very nice. The entire campground is tiered, uphill, uphill, uphill. Nothing attractive about this park.
roads getting to campground are very narrow [at the route GPS took us].. staff very nice and are helpful.. campground is old, a lot of regular residents here, plus work crews in the area [gypsy like].. our site was fairly level and hooks up are set up for convenience & ease of use.. I can't figure out Good Sam's rating system or even if it's up dated regularly... this is no 10/10/10 campground... I feel very over charged and definitely will not be back at these prices... rustic okay, permanent... Read More

I really would like an explanation from Good Sam as to their rating system and how often these get updated... this is the third time I've trusted Good Sam for a campground and been highly appointed and feel cheated...

For the price, we were not impressed. Seems a bit rustic for our liking and rated as a 10/10/10 location. Internet worked good, sites are rock and un level. Staff very friendly and 70 mile drive to the city sites.
We were just driving through and this campground was fine for our needs. It's a little tricky getting to it, but the staff was extremely helpful giving us directions. However, this campground is over-priced compared to others that have way more amenities and better layouts.
This campground is very old and does not have the qualities I expect in a ten star rating. We were given a site next to a construction field. Very old campers as seasonals around us. Pool was closed when it was 90 degrees out. No grass, fire rings dirty. Saw no one for three days in our area. Left a day early - lost our money. Worth it to find a better place.
Picked this place because of their website and proximity to NYC. Very surprised to find there was a half mile hike up a steep road to get to the showers, laundry and bathrooms from the pull-through site they placed me. For $80/night this place is not what I expected. Decided to stay only one night.
