My only complaint during check-in was that you have to temporarily park your rig on a severely downward angled hill. Make sure to use your parking brake! We stayed in site 32 and it was rather cramped. They did warn me when I made the reservation though that our 28 foot class A RV would barely fit, as the site is only 29 feet long. Thank goodness it was paved and level. Each RV site includes adjoining space to park your tow car or truck. Very clean private bathrooms. The laundry was quite... Read More

The laundry was quite a deal at only $1.50 to wash (40 minutes) and $1.50 to dry (60 minutes.) We ordered a package during our stay and it arrived with no issues. A beautiful garden is located near the river and guests are welcome to help themselves to complimentary produce and vegetables. We picked a few strawberries and tomatoes and both were excellent! The free campground wifi worked at our site and it was pretty good. My AT&T phone had 3 bars and my wife's Verizon phone had 3 bars. The 17 free cable channels were a bit fuzzy but we still enjoyed them. Campground is located in a busy area of town so groceries and other shopping are only a few miles away. Highway 99 West is insanely busy so be careful when exiting and entering.

This was an unplanned stop for us as we had vehicle problems. They were able to take us in at the last minute and extend our stay day by day until our truck was repaired. Very accommodating and friendly owners. This is a very clean and quiet park (well except for occasional sirens from the nearby station). Shower, restroom, and laundry facilities are among the nicest we've seen in our travels. Roads and slips are all paved or concrete. Utilities and cable TV worked well but WiFi was very slow,... Utilities and cable TV worked well but WiFi was very slow, almost useless at times. Sites are quite closely spaced. Many had patios and/or small grass patches in between. Our site (#71) took about 2 inches of block to level us side to side and sewer drain was uphill so I needed to drain hose by hand but most sites were level. Some sites are a little tight to back into but the pull through sites have plenty of room for large rigs. Make sure you specify the type of RV you have. I would rate higher if WiFi was better but still I would stay here again.

Roamers Rest is wonderful! My doggy and I stayed there for two months and very much enjoyed it! It's next to the Tualatin River (original stairs to what used to be a swimming pool built within the river, in the 1950's!), nice walking areas (grassy, trees! I'm here from Arizona!), a bird sanctuary wetland protected, with squirrels, ducks too! It's quiet, and family friendly, pet friendly and their rates are better than most I searched around! Friendly folks, laundry facility and showers (just in... Read More

The park has many full time residents and they have young boys running around the park causing damage and disruption. Even the park manager admitted that the kids cause problems for overnight guest. I do not recommend this park.

Note: I rate 3 stars as average/adequate and do not inflate ratings like GS does. Nice looking and maintained park, a bit woodsy within urban area. Park has two levels with a steep drive in and out. Sites are fairly roomy but barely long enough for biggest rigs. Paved streets and concrete pads. Lower level facility included laundry with 4 combo shower/toilet rooms. These were quite nice, but sinks in 2 of the rooms drained slow. WiFi worked fine most of time. A good mix of longer term and overnighters.... Read More
