Yes, this is a large gravel parking lot with hookups. Sites are long, no problem parking your RV and pickup. Slides went out and no interference with our neighbor's rig. You are in remote Canada, so things will naturally cost more. Think about your fuel costs to get there and maybe you'll understand the prices that Watson Lake residents pay for their living expenses, and that translates to what you have to pay for an overnight stay. Their food and fuel costs trickle down to your nightly fee. (End of soap box). Wifi and such doesn't meet everyone's expectations no matter what RV park you're at. Read a book or talk to your neighbor. Yeah, I'm old school.
Restaurant across the street, Kathy's Kitchen, good for dinner. Host has the low down on fuel costs in the direction you are traveling, north or south. Bottom line, this RV park is convenient to amenities in Watson Lake, and is a good stopover en route to/from Alaska. Realize what you're getting and why the price might seem a little high to you, then you'll be happy for a night or two.
When we drove in we realized it was just a gravel parking lot. Talked with the owner who was very grumpy and inhospitable. Park was expensive $47. Advertise free WiFii - you get 1 hour free. We were assigned a spot that you could reach out and touch your neighbour. It was so bad we left. Drive a little further and stay down the road.
This is pretty much a gravel parking lot with RV Hook ups. Sites were extremely tight and close together. No issue with power or water.
Staff was friendly and you are right in Watson Lake close to everything that it has to offer. I thought it was a bit expensive at $47.50 for a night ( full hookups).
Extremely tight parking. If we hooked up to water we could not get out of our door. No room to let out awning. They advertise free wifi but forget to tell you that you can only access it on the porch of the office and then only for 1/2 hr. Not impressed!
Great place to stop as you enter The Yukon, full Hook Ups. There's lots to do and see in and around Watson Lake.
Very helpful and friendly owner.
Will definitely stay here again after a long drive to The Yukon, good place to refresh!!
