We would only stay here based on the lake view sites. Any other sites were just not appealing. CON #1: When we backed in to the first site, the power (pedestal) was not working. We have a surge protector which caught the fault in one leg. Maintenance was called and did not believe us. The park eventually moved us to a new site. CON #2: The older lady in the office yelled at us to have our service dog leave the store/office. We explained it is a service dog and showed her proper paperwork but still... Read More

PRO #1: The view.

Stayed three nights. This park is tired and getting run down. Management needs to step up the game and spend some money on maintaining and cleaning the place up. Many, but not all, permanent and seasonal tenants need to clean up junk and pull weeds from their spaces. Sites need to be power washed between tenants. Day one into MemorialDay weekend and some of the trash bins are already overflowing. Too bad for the campers who they’ve placed just feet away from those open dumpsters! 5 stars... Read More

Must be a sweet deal for the concessionaire because the draw exists and they don’t need to market as hard as hundreds of other RV parks!

Only one device is allowed free, fine that didn't even work. I called tech. support and after 30 minutes on the phone my issue was ecalated to higher level. They never called back and I have no internet. Office gave me $5 back for my troubles. Apparently a third part handles their internet.

This is a dated RV park in need of many improvements. The good includes the people (at check-in and maintenance) and the view of Lake Mead if you are on one of the Lake View (LV) sites (which are the most expensive and have a 2-week limit). The rest of the sites have either no view or a very obstructed one. The LV sites are quite wide but the cable is hit and miss (we had poor reception but others had good) and if you back in (as all trailers do) you have a long run to sewer and water hookups. Wifi... The LV sites are quite wide but the cable is hit and miss (we had poor reception but others had good) and if you back in (as all trailers do) you have a long run to sewer and water hookups. Wifi is in and out, especially in the evening, and you can only connect one device to their network. The LV firepits are on the utilities side of your site, so to enjoy a fire you feel like you're in your neighbor's site. The bathrooms are small and barely adequate - 2 shower stalls in each bathroom with a common dressing area for the 2 stalls. There is only 1 bath/laundry house and it's quite a walk for most of the LV sites. Garbage and recycle bins aren't close, either. The RV park is a mix of mobile homes and RV sites and many of the former are showing their age. Other than a nice view of Lake Mead for the LV sites, there's not much to recommend this place. I heard they just got new management, so maybe it will change. The Good Sam Club ratings are way too generous.

You have to pay to get in here because it's a national park. It is NOT right on the beach as advertised in the photos. It's a good mile to the beach in 110 degree weather. If you only have a camper and not a car/vehicle you can not get there any other way by walking which the office girl said we can do. They don't do shuttles. The WiFi does not work. At all. If you're like my cousin who has to work while on vacation you can't connect to the WiFi and if you do manage to connect you can't stay connected.... Read More

The bathrooms do look like they were redone recently however the showers don't have any shower heads and if two people are using the showers at the same time you can't adjust your temperature at all or it messes with the other persons. We got a refund for 2 of the 3 nights we were planning on staying and we are going to go to another good Sam location. I don't recommend this place if you need WiFi and want to be right on the beach.

Enjoyed our stay much here. Facility is quiet, has wonderful views, helpful & courteous staff, and a well stocked store. This is the first place I've been to that has dual hook ups, at least for the Lake View sites. Dual hook ups were for motor-homes, pulling in front first, and trailers, backing in. Didn't use bathrooms or showers, can't rate them. A casino, and Boulder City are real close by,

Wifi non existent at our site camp host don't go around after dark to enforce rules; Need a pass card to swipe to get into rest rooms and card didn't work 2nd day Showers only have common dress area no private stalls Yaho two sites down from us flew American flag with annoying blinking lights that shown directly into our windows so we had to sleep with shades down in hot weather

Easy access to lakeview sites in a 35' class A with a 10' trailer, we even fit all the way in so didn't have to detach the trailer which is also a good thing. Chose to leave suv home since the internet showed so many trails to ride but side x side ls street legal which is the only way we were able to drive a few miles down to boulder bay beach to let the dogs have swim time. Very quite park and all of the dogs were leashed and friendly. Only reason they didn't get 5 stars is being a dog owner it would be nice to have a fenced off leash run area.

Great location with beautiful site of Lake Mead, staff was excellent through out or stay from check in to check out. Rest rooms were very clean and secure. If you did not get a key when checking in, you cannot get in. Recommend this spot, we stayed 3 nights.

We stayed one night at this park and really liked it. Our site had a nice view of the lake. Next time we will plan to stay more than one night. The pull through site we had was large enough for us to have slides out on both sides, power and water were good. We did not get to use the bathrooms or showers as we were a late arrival.

nice level lots. Ours was a back in and it offered a nice view of (extremely low) Lake Mead. Inside of the recreation area. Very close to Hoover dam. Restrooms looked as though the last few patrons had had a rough go of it and broke some things. Was a nice spot to stay for an evening on the way out to California. Pretty warm (but it is the desert), very little shade. If you need to stock your cooler, they offer block ice inside, I advise this as it will last much longer than cubes in your... Read More

We were on our way home from a trip through California and wanted a stop to relax for a couple of days before the last leg home. This was a great spot. We had a back in site (which really was a pull through #836). Despite being located several rows back, we had a nice view of the lake and the sunsets were spectacular. The site is gravel, but has a patio and picnic table. The weather was near perfect in the upper 70s while we were there, so the lack of shade was not an issue for us. With the Good... Read More

This RV park is inside the Lake Mead National Recreation Area, very close to the Hoover Dam. They have mostly paved driveways and gravel sites with full hookups, WiFi and cable service. The pull thru sites are very long, however they use an alternating direction with back to back hookups so you may have a very close neighbor. We were a few rows back but it's elevated so you get a good view of the lake and mountains without paying the premium for a front row spot. If you're interested, there... Read More

If you're interested, there is a tour group that has raft tours that take you from just below Hoover Dam 12 miles through Black Canyon to Willow Beach. They leave from Lake Mead Village. You can get a discount if you're staying here.

Arrived after office closed, camp host happened to be at office. After a lengthy spiel, we decided that view wasn't that important but rather being close to restrooms. No shade, very hot when it's in the triple digits. The view of the lake was nice though, even further up in the park.
