Not a bad Rv Park. Very nice people. The Park was designed to maximize number of units that can be fit in. It could become a problem during high occupancy. The bathrooms were bad. I do not blame the park for this. I blame the users. I'm not sure how they were raised.

Okay, on the positive side of things, the people were quite friendly, the cost was low and we weren't hassled at all, while we spent a week with this park as our hub for hiking the local canyons. The road noise from I27 is very loud and much of the park is residential with some "classic" RV's. If you want to rough it and/or spend a night passing through or use it as a place that is only 10 miles from Palo Duro Canyon SP, the power was fine and the water pressure was up to the task and with the exception of some roaming dogs, we didn't feel at all unsafe. This campground had the dirtiest restrooms I have ever been in. Water standing in shower, smelled bad and just plain filthy. Would not recommend staying here to anyone.

Stayed here for 4 nights while visiting Palo Duro Canyon and surrounding areas. This park is great for access to the Canyon, right down the road, however, it has many full timers which tend to bring the park down. The spaces are entirely too close together and they are double pull-ins, meaning your door is facing your neighbor's door and if someone is behind you, you can't hook up your tow vehicle without pulling out on the road first. This park is great for access to the Canyon, right down the road, however, it has many full timers which tend to bring the park down. The spaces are entirely too close together and they are double pull-ins, meaning your door is facing your neighbor's door and if someone is behind you, you can't hook up your tow vehicle without pulling out on the road first. We don't like these kind of sites because you have no privacy at all when sitting out doors, especially if they are out there also. The first night there were rv's on both sides and we barely had space to walk out our doors, much less put our awning out. We got lucky the next day and the rv on our door side left and no one else came in for the duration of our stay. They have good wifi and staff is very friendly.

Site was too close to the neighbor for comfort. Not a quiet park. Poor internet service. Website is a disaster, downloading stuff onto my computer when I first opened the site. However, all other utilities functioned well, including laundry. And the proximity to Palo Duro Canyon was good. I'm glad I didn't have to pull my 24' Lance trailer (with my 2001 small v-8 truck) up the steep 2 mile road from the Canyon!

This campground is locate only a few miles from Palo Duro Canyon which is reportedly the second largest canyon in the US. The campground is a mix of permanent residents and travelers. Sites are level and adequate but close together. The restrooms are recently remodeled and were very clean. Would stay again if in the area.
