The best things I can say about this campground. The spaces are level and clean. It goes downhill from there. There is helicopters all day long flying overhead due to sight seeing tour next door. River view is not a river view due to the mound you can't see over from sites. No fire rings, limited picnic tables (we took one from another site not used) sites are real close together. MANAGEMENT WAS HORRIBLE!!! The young person in office (the granddaughter) seems to run the show and is an absolute disgrace... Read More

She was rude, didn't care about the guest and only wanted to take our money. When I brought up issues about our site, her response was "oh well!" Take your family, camper and money somewhere else.

Big disappointment! Electrical problems on many sites due to multiple floods. Playground is pitiful. Pool was not open for the summer. Staff is rude. And after dealing with all of this, they refused to give us a refund. Definitely do not recommend this place. We will never go back!

We have stayed at this campground over several years. This time we came back to support after the flood and the owner repairing the campgrounds. So unhappy with the way we were treated this time and will not be back. The treatment and the way they treated the few campers is uncalled for. We will move on and find a campground that enjoys having people stay there.

Please do not waste your hard earned money here!! The staff here is very rude and that in my opinion makes the experience a one star review. We are currently staying at the resort awaiting on our new house to close and have been here approximately 3 weeks now. The only reason that we haven't left yet is that we have paid up until Friday and they will NOT give us a refund. We got double charged for a 90 degree sewer connecter which was supposed to be 8.00. They will literally find ways to milk MORE MONEY out of you. When we first got here we were not expecting a delay in the closing and we were paying weekly. When we found out that we were going to be needing the spot longer, we decided the best route for us was going to be paying monthly which was going to be cheaper for us. We then went into the office to speak with the RUDE OFFICE LADY she told us that since we were already paying weekly that she would not switch us to the monthly rate. Which is a good example on ways that they milk money out of their campers. Another way that they get money out of their campers is visitors, we are currently LIVING here, we are going to have people stop by. She then has her RUDE daughter come to your camp site after the visitors have just stepped foot out of their car and tells us that we need to pay. We were having a visitor come over this morning and paid them before we went to breakfast. We get a phone call while we were in the middle of our meal. It was the office lady. She says, "I need to see you all in the office". So when we tell her we are not at the campground and ask her what it is regarding she hangs up. When we get back to the campground she tells us she needs .30 more for the sales tax. Before we were stayed here we read some similar experiences people have had and we just ignored the reviews figuring it was people being picky. During our stay we figured out that the reviews people have wrote were accurate. We have even read a google review of the Ladys husband cleaning the women's restroom and telling a little girl she could come use the restroom while he was in there cleaning it!! Overall, the stay at Ripplin' Waters Campground was a 1 star experience and we WILL NEVER be back.

Our third visit. As previously reported, it's an older campground that has seen better days although it's better than at the time of our first visit. Sites are mainly pull-thru with full hookups, cable included (does not work well). Many back-in sites with older campers in various states of repair. Many of the occupants either work at the campground or are survivors of the deadly wildfire that devastated portions of Gatlinburg a few years ago. The restrooms and laundry are clean and well-supplied.... Read More

The restrooms and laundry are clean and well-supplied. The roads are coarse gravel. The owner is an elderly lady who has made many improvements over the years. The campstore is well-stocked with a variety of products. Near Sevierville, Pigeon Forge (Dollywood), and Gatlinburg as well as The Great Smoky National Park. Would return to the area but probably not to this campground.

Although the spaces are a little small, we enjoyed our stay. The river spot we reserved was very scenic. The park was quiet and well maintained. Gravel spots were fairly level. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Stayed here for 4 nights with one day visiting Dollywood. Campground has lots of trees, well kept, friendly staff. We had a spot where we backed in with the rear window facing the river which was a very nice view. The town of Sevierville and other adjoining towns were right there with full facilities. Dollywood was $64 per person and had some good rides (worked us over pretty good) and lots and lots of artisen and food shops. Interesting place about 10 miles away. I never give a full five... Loud helicopters, road noise, partying campers, and barking dogs. Extended stay area looks like the trailer hood.

Staff was very friendly. I thought the park was rather quiet. Bath house was old but very clean and usable. Pool was nice also.

Just got home from a trip to this campground. Started off on the wrong foot when I went in to pay. They attempted to charge me for more days. When questioned it I got attitude. It was cleared up the following morning by a different employee, but the attitude was similar. There were lots of sights available the entire time Iwas there, yet they stuck us at the forks of the road where al the traffic had to go by to get to all other sights. There were lots of sights available the entire time Iwas there, yet they stuck us at the forks of the road where al the traffic had to go by to get to all other sights. There is an entire row of campers which we were facing, that were apparently full time residences. Looked like a trashy trailer part from the unfortunate view we had. We had only reserved for 2 nights or we would have left. None of us could have gone any more days without sleep as it was too noisy to get a decent nights sleep. The bath house was decent. The pool was decent, although the pics on the website make it appear larger than it us.

Ms. Marcia Potter, You stayed on site 60, which is on a corner; dates were June 29-30. First, you did not complain to the owner who was/is in the office 11/7 year around. This "Review" is questionable since in June of 2016, the only "employee" working the reservations counter was the owner. There were no other employees at that time. Ms. Marcia Potter, You stayed on site 60, which is on a corner; dates were June 29-30. First, you did not complain to the owner who was/is in the office 11/7 year around. The proprietor, Mrs. Burnside, is very conscientious of her Campground's Brand and Reputation. This "Review" is questionable since in June of 2016, the only "employee" working the reservations counter was the owner. There were no other employees at that time. Second, June was an exceptionally busy time for us; the busiest we have had in a year or more; we had a difficult time finding reservation sites for our regular customers AND our new clients. In all the months of 2016, from April to present, sites have been full and/or limited in the number of days available. Third, we are having trouble finding the "forks of the road where al [sic] the traffic had to go by to get to all other sights [sic]" described in this review. Also, we are trying to find the "trashy trailer part [sic] from the unfortunate view we had." I question your "view" and assessment. WHY didn't you ask to move to a better site if there were so many open sites? Fourth, "None of us could have gone any more days without sleep as it was too noisy to get a decent nights sleep." The owner resides on the property and the permanent residents are the first to complain when the daily rentals noise levels disturb the campground. Violators are asked first, to cease and desist their noise and/or are asked to immediately leave. Permanent residents are evicted immediately for noise violations. I do wish that you would have complained directly to the owner in the office where you made and paid for you reservations in order for Mrs. Burnside to immediately address and correct any problems you were having at that time. I wish you safe travels and better luck in your future camping experiences, Ripplin' Waters Campground & Staff

We just returned home after a 8 day stay at this park. This is one of the nicest parks, very clean, & pretty. Not too big and not too small. The owner & staff are very helpful and kind. We will definitely stay there again. Close to everything yet out of the hustle of traffic.

Thank You. We are looking forward to your next visit. Charlotte Burnside and Staff.

I enjoyed my stay at the park. The staff were helpful, the escort to my site and guidance to back in was helpful being a single traveler. The sites were nice had a patio with table. Some people didn't follow rules, let their pets run loose and came running out at me and my dog when we walked by. That's my only complaint. I'd return if I was in the area again.

Thank You. We do ask that pet owners keep their pets on a leash at all times, however not everyone obeys the rules. When you visit us again, please let us know if this problem has not been resolved and we will deal with it at that time. Again, thank you for your review and please visit us again.
