We stayed one night in transit so I have limited experience to comment on. Place is easily accessible from highway but you can hear the traffic on I-75. Site was nice size and level too. Bathrooms were decent (showers on the small size). The reason for low marks on facilities was that we reserved spot so we could take a dip in the pool after a long day on the road. Lady who took the reservation said the pool was open when I reserved that morning. However, pool was padlocked at 6 PM when we arrived.... Read More

Lady walking by said the person working in the office told her pump was down. We would stay again if traveling through but not as a destination.

We stayed at this campground on our way from Indiana to South Carolina Friday before Christmas. We made the reservation same day and paid with credit card over the phone. Folks very nice. Showed up and was parked on campsite #1, right up front. Everything was ready for us. We were greatly impressed this campground is open all year, has water turned on in December, and even had full hook-up. Camp site was easy access, pull-through. Trash dumpster on the way out made it easy to get of of trash. On... Read More

Trash dumpster on the way out made it easy to get of of trash. On our way back from South Carolina we wanted to stay again for a Saturday overnight. We made the reservation on Friday night, but got a call from home and had to return ASAP. Called this campground Saturday morning and they were very nice to refund our credit card for the reservation. This really impressed up. We're planning another trip in March 2017 to SC and have plans to stay here again for another overnight, as this location is a great mind-way point for us. Staff is very nice, clean facilities, full hook-ups, swimming pool (although closed in December), and adequate parking spots (especially for just an overnight). Looked like all the campsites were pretty level, with only minor leveling blocks maybe needed. I use a single 2x8 board under one set of tires on the trailer to make it perfectly level side-to-side, actually, better than many state parks I've been to. Highly recommend this campground for anyone else. Looking forward to returning in March.

Well laid out campsites built on fairly level gravel pads, some are a little tight. We had a concrete patio to ourselves but one of the camp roads was right next to it. Most sites are shady. There is a nice trail down to a nearby lake (flowage). Camp staff are quite friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was my wife and I plus another couple in their fifth wheel. We were here from a Friday afternoon through checkout Sunday. The hosts and their staff were very nice, polite and accommodating. The campsites were clean. Even the fire rings were clean! The bathhouse was clean. The sites were fairly level with lots of trees. Yet we still had room for our slideout. About the only negative I have is that the trail to the lake wasn't maintained very well.We will definately stay... Read More
