The best campground on Long Island. The only thing between the campsites and the Atlantic are some dunes... You must use Reserve America and plan ahead 9 months to date you wish to reserve. The sites do not have electric or sewer but there are water spigots available every 100 feet or so for filling up your tanks. There is a convenient dumping station. Generators can be run for a few hours in the morning and afternoon. Bring sun shelters as there are no trees... The sites are large but not... Read More

RV awnings must be closed during storms as the winds will tear them off. If you love sun, surf fishing, sand and the ocean this is for you...If you are looking for a tourist trap, then find a room in the "Hamptons".... There is a camp store that sells excellent coffee and ice, etc. A bit pricey... Town is a car ride away... There are walking trails and kids and adults can ride bikes through the park during the day. Bonfires only allowed off season and you must supply your own ring. Star gazing at night is pretty great...
