Worst state park campground in Utah. Management needs to be replaced as the grounds are deteriorating with trees dying and only weeds for cover. Restrooms are extremely dirty with a layer of dead bugs. We will not stay here again and will find a private campground next time.

Level, paved site with partial hook-up, covered picnic area, campfire ring, and charcoal campground grill. While there is a good amount of usable greenspace in the campground, it's mostly weeds vs. grass (watch out for goat heads!). In the evening the wind tends to pick up quite a bit so be careful with your awning. Also common in the evening and at night are swarms of bugs/mosquitoes, come prepared with bug spray and citronella torches. Proximity to the lake and the Provo/Jordan River Parkway... Read More

Proximity to the lake and the Provo/Jordan River Parkway Trail (paved bike/walking path) is great! Sites are nicely spaced apart so you don't feel cramped even when the campground is full. Felt very safe walking around and exploring, even at night.

My wife and I enjoy staying in State Parks because they are safe and usually have larger sites than private camp grounds. The park is a launching site for boats. The camp ground is in very poor condition. No grass just weeds...goat heads which will hole a bicycle tire. The rest rooms have spider webs and dirty floors. Management needs to be changed here which has a vision on how to bring this campground up to standards.
