We can only comment on the RV site(s), as we did not use the pool/spa, restrooms, laundry, etc. The sites are too close together and have light poles obstructing the back in parking. There were two vehicles and the light pole making it impossible to back in our 31 foot fifth wheel. Finally able to get one of the vehicle owners to move it out of the way, but still resulted in a broken tail light lens on the questionable placement of their light poles. Could not get satellite or over the air TV in... Read More

Could not get satellite or over the air TV in the site we were assigned. In hind sight, we should have known better than to try and squeeze into the small site. Would not stay here again, nor would we recommend.

Admitting that our stay was during what should have been the end of the china virus episode, it was very disconcerting that we never met and not sure if we saw the owner or manager of this park Everythng was done by phone or text. We arrived during a chilly spell but, the hot tub and pool were advertised as open. The times we tried the gates were locked. The manager was quite short with me and never made us feel as though they were glad we were there. The spaces are very small. We I guess... Read More

We I guess were/are spoiled by the friendliness and actual happiness to see you by the parks we stayed in, in Texas (both Brownsville and Galveston). This park served its purpose but, certainly is not a top Good Sams park.

Acknowledge that our stay was at the start of Covid-19. Found the staff very unfriendly. Didn't feel welcome at all. Wanted to cut our stay short to head home due to Covid-19. Asked for a refund for days we would not be using but our request was denied. We had planned to continue our trip for several weeks until the Covid-19 thing got so crazy and decided to head back home to Colorado. Every other campground that we had booked for the rest of the trip graciously refunded our deposits. We ended up... Read More

Every other campground that we had booked for the rest of the trip graciously refunded our deposits. We ended up leaving 3 days before our planned departure and forfeiting the cost for 3 nights. This park is basically a mobile home park with the back side being used as an RV park. Got the definite impression that they weren't that interested in short term customers.

This is the park that had me questioning the Good Sam rating system. It was awful. The only thing nice I can say is that management was friendly and somewhat helpful. This is a mobile home/snowbird park with some RV spots in the rear, most of which also looked like snowbird spots. The sites are on larger pebbles and crunched when riding on. There are no picnic tables. The facility had a game room and clubhouse that was pretty much unusable since it was so hot, and there was no air conditioning,... Read More

There are no picnic tables. The facility had a game room and clubhouse that was pretty much unusable since it was so hot, and there was no air conditioning, at least none that was on. There is a men's shower/restroom and a woman's shower/restroom. Just one of each. At least they were clean. We chose this campground as were heading north after our stay and didn't want to get into Tucson traffic. In hindsight, we should have put up with the traffic.

I have been FT for many years and travel all over the country. Stopped here on way to visit family. Very disappointing. I was putting faith in this beeing a good sam camp ground. It is a trailer park with rv spots in back. It sits in an agricultural field. All parking is on gravel. There is a cement slab to out a chair on. Management was nowhere to be found. The sign said office hours are 8-11:30 1-4:30 Mon thru Friday closed on weekend and evenings. The clubhouse was locked so unable to access... Read More

The sign said office hours are 8-11:30 1-4:30 Mon thru Friday closed on weekend and evenings. The clubhouse was locked so unable to access showers and pool. Pool not heated. The long term residents shared with me that the only time they see the managers is when the owner of the park shows up. There is no shade anywhere. The people staying there had many complaints about recent changes in management. I was told it was never like this with the prior manager. I personally did not get a sense of community and did not feel safe at this park.

Stayed there for 2 weeks. Short way off I-10. Wi-Fi was very slow to almost stop (next time we travel we'll buy a hot spot to eliminate that problem). No cable TV. Antenna did work good once I found the right direction to point it. Very quiet to almost dead park. Not a whole lot of activities. Good thing there was a lot to see in the area. The shower area was big and ok clean. Staff was friendly and helpful if you had a question. Laundry area needed help. Washing machines were old, very small and dirty. They should be replaced. Dryers were ok. Back-in and pull-thru sites were long enough to handle just about any size rig. Short walk to Dollar Store for needed last minute things. Gas station at I-10 exit is $$$. (Take road to Ore Valley to save. Shopping center there to get just about anything you need.) The area around the park seems to be ok. We did a lot of walking around and had no issues. Small Catholic church a few minutes away. We probably would not do a long term stay here again, however if you are just passing thru, the place is great.

Stayed over night - but the people were very friendly and invited us to the goings on... There was plenty of room... Roadrunners were all over - really enjoyed seeing them... The mountain views were amazing... We would def. go back

I travel in a big rig and spent three nights at the RV Park. We have stayed in more than 30 Good Sam's Parks in the last year. The pull thru's are easy to get in and out and the layout of the park made it easy to get around. Easy access from Interstate 10. Utilities are fine (elec, water sewer). Clubhouse, pool, laundry, office are very nice. The positives- very quiet park. We liked the fact that a Family Dollar Store was nearly walking distance from the park The negatives- The sign at the entrance... Read More

The WIFI did not work for the three days we were there. The "appeal" or surroundings are more like a "5" rather than the "9" rating Good Sam's gives the park. Its fine if you are just passing through but for longer stays I would stay at other nearby Good Sam Parks
